Got a "direct fit" catalytic converter kit that was just a hair shy of being a perfect fit, resulting in an exhaust leak. Strapped this in, it took moments to install and now no more leak. Looks a lot nicer than the clamp that came with the kit. The bolts were long enough to allow for everything to fit together, even on the female end of the pipe that was a bit bigger than the other. It's not super thick, but that seems to help with it conforming to the shape of the pipe for a good seal. I had to really crank and the clamp didn't break, so seemed pretty strong to me, but I wasn't using any power tools, or anything. ... show more

While these are well made, them being metric sized they are smaller than SAE and barely fit around pipe, especially with center spacer installed. not much room for a adjustment .
