  • Fantastic Quality and Sturdy
Color: Grey
It's been a while since I've bought myself a new umbrella, so I was really interested in this one, which is very different from what I'm used to buying. Until now, I'd never heard of an inverted umbrella. Design-wise, it feels very much like your average umbrella until you see how it opens and closes. The umbrella itself isn't very heavy but does have some weight to it. Opening it is very simple. You just hit the button on the handle, and it pops open. Watching it open the first time was a bit disconcerting, as I was almost afraid it was going to adjust and the umbrella would be turned inside out. But it quickly adjusted. Even in a summer storm, with a bit of wind, the umbrella managed to stay stable in my hand. It works well, just like any umbrella, and keeps the rain off of me. And it covers a good amount of space above me. Folding it, however, takes a bit of strength. As someone with arthritis, this was a bit of a workout! You can hit the button on the handle again to close the umbrella. But to pull it down, you'll need to use both hands and push hard. Once it clicks in place, you can just use the attached strap to close the umbrella. While it's designed to keep water inside of the umbrella instead of dripping everywhere, this isn't feasible for long, as if your umbrella tips over, it will spill water. It's not a bad design. I think it's also fairly easy to just stick the umbrella out the door and give it a shake. More water seems to come off with this design than your average umbrella. I think for a good, stable umbrella, you get an excellent deal. And one that you can clip onto your bag is a bonus! It has become a favorite. ... show more

  • Pretty sturdy, comfortable handle
Color: Blue
When I first opened this up, it didn't want to pop out correctly, like it was half stuck in reverse with the edges flared up. I just needed to push the edges of the umbrella down, and now it opens and closes correctly. The reverse design helps ensure the water is contained within the umbrella to keep you/your bag/etc drier when you set this down. Also - this fits back into its bag pretty easily..points for that. The open close button works well also. Everything feels well made and secure. The handle is comfortable and well sized for most adult hands, and I like that it has a carabiner built in. Easy to attach it anywhere you need. Can't really test the rain or wind resistance right now as it's summer in the desert, but it feels strong enough and should work pretty well. If for some reason it doesn't I'll update. Does a pretty decent job blocking the sun though! • Excellent Umbrella, Questionable Anger Management
Color: Black
I opened this umbrella without reading the directions, because it is an umbrella and I arrogantly assumed I had mastered the ancient technology of “stick with fabric.” Then I pressed the button with the cover still on. This thing did not open. It attacked. The spring-loaded launch has the energy of a tiny weather-based missile. I’m talking Mike Tyson before the face tattoo, after someone called him “rain resistant.” Had anyone been standing in front of me, they would have left with dry clothes, a new fear of umbrellas, and possibly a brief memory gap. Once I removed the sleeve like a functioning adult, the umbrella worked great. It opens fast, feels sturdy, has solid coverage, and the reverse-folding design keeps the wet side tucked in instead of dripping all over the floor like a sad portable swamp. The ring handle is useful too. You can hang it on a bag, stroller, or door handle, assuming everyone nearby has signed the proper liability waivers. Great umbrella. Keeps rain off you, folds nicely, feels durable, and doubles as a reminder that even basic objects are waiting for one stupid decision to become a training montage. ... show more

  • A very creative and useful design for a umbrella.
Color: Grey
This umbrella has become my indispensable companion for everyday use. I purchased it in search of something practical for my daily outings, and it has met my expectations for three main reasons: its smart design, the quality of its materials, and the convenience it offers for carrying. The first feature that caught my attention was its carabiner-style (or ring-shaped) handle. This is a good design that provides a solid grip. When I go into a shop or use public transport, I can easily hang it from my backpack strap or handbag handle, rather than having to carry it around. Although this type of handle takes up a bit more space than ultra-slim umbrellas that fit in a pocket, the convenience of being able to hang it anywhere makes it worthwhile. When closed, the umbrella remains quite compact, given the coverage it provides. The canopy arc measures 46 inches, offering ample space for protection (two people can fit underneath it). The fabric is of good quality; water beads right off, and it dries quickly. Additionally, it features a one-button automatic open-and-close system, which is handy when your hands are full. Another notable feature is its reverse-folding design. When you close it, the wet side folds inward, preventing water from dripping all over the floor or soaking your car seat when you get in. To top it off, there is a reflective strip along the edge that helps keep you visible on dark, rainy days. Overall, it is a sturdy, well-designed umbrella that offers great value for money. ... show more

  • Cool open close button feature
Color: Green
This is a good sized umbrella. It is easy to use with the typical push button. Before I discovered that the button is for opening AND closing I was frustrated with fiddling around with it. Then I realized my mistake. Push the button again and visual! It snaps shut and you just have to press the arm down to click it in place. I really like the looped handle - much easier to hang on to than others. I’ll be using this for dog walks when the rainy season returns Great quality overall and good value. ... show more
