Purchased this to install it on my new Aorus X570 xtreme with a ryzen 9 5950X. This particular model is listed in the gigabyte's QVL as tested, also the G.skill cofigurator online tool lists this model as well, unfortunately one of the sticks is bad, the board will only post when A1B1 or A2B2 slots are used, (2 sticks only), and the bad stick is not used, otherwise a error code 0d is thrown by the motherboard.     • Check BIOS compatibility and for updates.
Great capacity, good timings and speedy RAM kit. Maybe it's the Z170 PCH, but I had to be sure to turn off the XMP in BIOS first, then remove my previous kit, then install, then set XMP again. Otherwise, worked fine in my main machine right away. Just wanted to try it out before putting together the system they were intended for. Once I got to my other system, different story. X99 PCH apparently was running an older BIOS with no support for 16GB memory modules. Had to find an updated BIOS version to flash to in order to get the system booting with this kit. Not a complaint of the product but definitely something important to consider before you buy. Check support and compatibility. You may need to do some grunt work to get your system to take the set. I'm sure this will change as these high capacity kits are out for longer. ... show more

This RAM is perfect if you aren't a fan of the RGB rage these days. They're also an excellent budget option, even undercutting Corsair's Vengeance LPX lineup with the same performance. Additionally, they're low profile enough to fit under my massive Noctua cooler, which is ostensibly important. Good buy! Edit: After ~6 months, I cannot boot with stability with this kit of RAM. Between three CPU's, two motherboards with different chipsets, and two different power supplies I could not get this kit of RAM to boot unless only two sticks were installed - and even then I'd BSOD at desktop. Currently in RMA process, we'll see how G.Skill's Customer service holds up. ... show more

Pros: Great Price for PlugNPlay 64GB@3200Mhz w/ Solid Timings Ran great right OOTB @2133, and then @3200 once I added the XMP timings My AsRock Extreme4 board supposedly only supports 3000Mhz or less, but this ran at full 3200Mhz Nonetheless Getting awesome throughput in AIDA64 Testing (54GB/s Read/Write, 65GB/s Copy, 68ns Latency) Cons: None I can think of.
