  • Confirmed working for Alienware M18 R2
Size: 64GB (2x32GB) Style: DDR5-5600 CL40-40-40-89 Color: Black
Not sure what that other review for the Alienware M18 R2 using 64gb of this ram was about. But on the latest bios 1.11.0 I was able to get it running and overclock it to OVL2 with Intel XMP 1 It’s running great at 5600mhz. I did have some issue after install and ended up needing to reset the bios to default after installing it. But after figuring that out and rebooting a bunch it’s working great. I had to go back into the bios and enable overclocking for the ram again. But that’s a one time thing. So far this ram exceeds expectations. I had 2 16gb 6000mhz sticks before. And all over the internet people claim you don’t need more than 32gb. Well I can tell you that if you play WoW and have lots of addons, other programs running in the background, and a bunch of internet tabs open you hit that 32gb and everything locks up. Now edge no longer freezes and the most I’ve seen used still gave me 44gb of ram headroom. I’m no longer worried about it. But as someone who works in IT I could tell it was a bottleneck. Oh also I’m running windows 11. All drivers and bios are updated to the latest and my M18 has the I9 and RTX 4090. I can tell you now I won’t need to upgrade the ram again. And unless you are a content creator I don’t think you will need the 48gb x2 option. Plus even though it overlocks it only runs at 4800mhz and has a higher CL. If you have an Alienware M18 R2 look no further then this ram from Gskill. It was worth the price. Just make sure you install a newer bios then 1.7.0 like that other review. It seems like compatibility got added after but I’m not sure in which revision. ... show more

  • Quality DDR5 SODIMM Kit.
Size: 64GB (2x32GB) Style: DDR5-5600 CL40-40-40-89 Color: Black
Installed and booted no problem on a Lenovo P16v Gen 1. RAM training took just long enough to scare me but apparently that's not uncommon with DDR5 and I'd attribute it to the machine rather than the RAM. Not much else to say. RAM is basically a commodity item and has been for years. There's a handful of reputable manufacturers, and they all charge about the same for roughly the same product. From a quality and reliability standpoint, just as a general statement, I've had several dozen G.Skill kits deployed going back to DDR3, and none of them have ever failed or given me any issues whatsoever. I cannot say the same about some other highly-regarded manufacturers. No issues, no complaints, does what it says on the tin. ... show more

  • Good deal, works great
Size: 32GB (2x16GB) Style: DDR5-4800 CL34-34-34-76 Color: Black
Worked perfectly on my dell g16 7630. Factory ram was 16gb 1 chip, this detected with no issues dual channel. However I did run all updates first which gave me the newest bios version. (32gb at 4800 is the max recommended) So anything faster or larger, results may vary. Comes with a nice metal sticker also. ... show more

  • Very fun to upgrade and very useful too
Size: 64GB (2x32GB) Style: DDR5-5600 CL40-40-40-89 Color: Black
It definitely works well and is very easy to upgrade, at least it was for my laptop, the memory is a lot faster than my previous ram that came with it and I’d say is worth it for the price, however when replacing laptop ram don’t be scared if your laptop won’t boot mine took 30~ minutes to boot and get used to the new ram just make sure it’s in right and leave it to boot ... show more

  • Works with my Acer nitro 17-41
Size: 64GB (2x32GB) Style: DDR5-5600 CL40-40-40-89 Color: Black
Easy-open packaging, performs as advertised. Specs on the laptop say 32gb max, but dos command to determine what a mb will support (open CMD, then run wmic memphysical get MaxCapacity) This command reports in kilobytes, so you have to divide by 1048576 to determine the supported capacity in gB. The mb came back with 64gB, so I tried it. These are DDR5-5600, a little faster than the DDR-5-4800 stock unit, but there are no stability issues because these cards scale down. Beats benchmarks for an unmodified unit by about 15%, probably due to the fact that the mb supports dual channel ram access and the factory memory was one 32gB card instead of two 16gB cards, which would have been better. Another aside: to keep things easiest, I never mix modules. I buy a set like this one from the same company. ... show more
