  • Does the job, and is quite spectacular at it
Looked just as new as my older pieces of RAM. Would definitely buy again!

  • Might be a little too thick.
I had two issues: 1. On my first order, 1 stick was DOA. In the replacement, both sticks worked fine. Not a huge deal, this happens sometimes, so I'm not really removing a star for it. I also haven't done the RMA yet, so I can't speak on how hassle-free that is. 2. These sticks are kinda thick. I'm not totally sure if it's the RAM or the motherboard, but fitting in 4 sticks side-by-side in an ASRock Z170 OC Formula doesn't seem possible. When I upgrade to 4 sticks, I'm going to search for a thinner model. Overall, once you get it working, they do seem to work well and are pretty good. I don't really regret the purchase. I would just be weary of space if you need four sticks. ... show more

  • Memory is durable
The memory chip Specs matches the processor. Memory lasts and holds up to heat with the attached heatsinks. I have a gamers computer with a lot of heat.

  • Good RAM for a good Price
3200 MHz was really hard to find at a decent price until I came upon these bad boys! Thank you so very much! I will more than likely be ordering another set of these so that I can fill my other two slots and really be set on RAM for a while. New egg does have them for cheaper but I wanted them to arrive with the rest of my parts so I paid the few dollar extra and went through amazon. I wish they were blue instead of red to match just about all the rest of my tech. ... show more

  • It Just Works
I bought this RAM in 2016 for a new build. 4 years later I decided I wanted to double my RAM and bought 2 more matching sticks. It just works; no issues between the older and newer batches.

  • Great ram for an upgrade or for a new system
Second time purchasing G.Skill ram. Originally bought DDR3 for a previous gaming rig. Bought this for my MSI x470 Gaming Plus board w/Ryzen 2700x. Works great, ordered one pair to start off and a second to max out the board. Oc'ed to 3200 and so far everything runs amazing. Definately would purchase this brand again specially since I've normally been a Corsair and Mushkin brand user for a long time. ... show more

  • Excellent Memory for ASUS Motherboards!
I'm using this memory on a self-built ASUS Prime Z270-AR motherboard overclocked at 20%, memory running at a little over 3GHz, and Windows 10 OS with excellent results! The speed of doing anything and everything with this memory is almost instantaneous. After about 6 months of use so far, no problems with the memory whatsoever, I love it! And, I still have two slots left to expand with another 16GB later if I want. ... show more

  • I ended up having to test each stick individually and two of the four were bad. I think it may have been the entire ...
I purchased two sets of 8GB sticks for a new rig. (MSI M7 270 MB) back in Feb and I finally got around to building my new PC. The PC will boot with 2 sticks and not four. I ended up testing each stick individually and the PC will only boot with two of the four sticks. I sent an email to GSkill tech support - unfortunately, you can't use two sets of RAM (same model) in the same PC; you have to buy one set with four sticks... Ok lesson learned. I still put in an RMA because one set doesn't work. I should at least have a working backup set of RAM instead of two paper weights. I put in another RMA after three days and still haven't heard back from GSkill. Bottom line: works great, but if you have issues - GSkill customer service is not very responsive. Caveat emptor... ... show more
