G-Shock's latest Master of Gravity release with tough solar and bt connectivity. The good: The watch looks great. I really like the white & orange detail combined with the dark background. The second hand is very sharp & lands accurately on each marker. The date window is easy to read. The hour & minute hands are lumed as well as the orange portion of the indices. The bad: The fit just OK tho. I may be in between sizes for the band - one notch leaves it loose enough to rotate, but the next I have to pull it quite tight just to get the buckle to latch. There are no notches on the bottom of the strap to hold the keeper (a feature you don't know you need until you've had it) & the buckle feels like cheap plastic. I also got a bit more reflection than I'd like. Not bad enough to not read the time, but enough to make it difficult to see the small details in the complications. The ugly: Quality control. My watch was built and sold with a damaged complication. The small disc on the left of the dial is warped. When I noticed it, I thought maybe it was supposed to be curved like a fan blade. Once the hands were fully cleared and I saw it rotating I realized there was an issue. Confirmed that by looking at multiple pictures & videos online. I can't tell you if it's metal & was crushed/bent, or plastic and came out of the mold like this. The watches have a lot of tiny parts & I'm not sure how this made it down the assembly line and ended up in a box. This is part of the Master of G line. I expect better. I'm returning this watch because of the defect I mentioned, I'll post a picture of it as well. I may repurchase this model because I do like the way it looks, but the fit & reflection is questionable. This would be an easy 5 star, but I'm knocking off .5 for the bad & 1.5 for the ugly. Maybe that's harsh & this one "slipped" thru the cracks, but this isn't just a G-#### watch. ... show more
