They do take a minute to break in and they are heavy but… they are sturdy and will last forever. Very happy with them. They do have narrow ankles but are loosening up with wear.

Doc Martens, there's not much to say. I wanted a pair with good tread that I could wear daily, and they are just that. I've gotten a ton of compliments. I took a star off because they don't come with an insole. I bought a pair of comfort insoles, though, and they made all the difference.

I’ve gotten Doc Martens before but the back cut into my heel and I wanted to give them another chance for this winter. I was a little nervous but they are so comfortable and need just a little work from my end stretching out the ankle because they’re a little difficult to put on at first. Otherwise, they fit perfect even with my wide feet! I can wear some thick socks in the winter and my feet will still be comfy.

This is my third pair of Docs and they are so cute. I have the platform black chelsea boots and I wanted something a little more casual/everyday so these brown boots with a smaller platform were perfect. I find that with their chelsea boots, the breaking in process isn't as brutal. These didn't hurt my feet at all like the lace up boots did for me in the beginning. They are typical docs sizing which for me always run large. I wear a size 9-9.5 typically, and I always get an 8 in these. The brown leather is so pretty and is supposed to look worn in as you wear them, which I can already see on day one. If you want your boots to look brand new all the time, I would go with the black ones instead.

I love these boots. My last pair of Docs I had to break in over 2 weeks. These I don't have to break in at all. They pair well with any outfit really too.
