These are wonderful. I haven’t tested them in the water, but just for fit and feel, I am very pleased. I have rather narrow legs and they are not too large or baggy on me. Right now my body is a size 10.

I love these swim shorts! They are so perfect for what I was looking for. I bought them to wear camping for swimming. They look nice and were comfortable. The material is very similar to a regular swimsuit material but not clingy. They look like athletic shorts when dry. The length was perfect for me sitting mid thigh.

I was a bit surprised when I received these shorts as I was expecting the body of the shorts to be made of different fabric (stretch woven board short fabric) than the “knit waist band.” In fact, all of the inner and outer layers of these shorts are made from knit fabrics. Pros: - They are versatile in appearance, you wouldn’t guess they were designed for water activities - The shorts were well fabricated and constructed with minimal bulkiness - They line dry well, so a good multi-use addition for a travel wardrobe - Item as expected based on product listing, including size, color and 5” inseam which is a good length to cover the inner thighs - Waist fit is snug enough that they don’t feel in any danger of causing a “wardrobe malfunction” when fully wet/at their greatest weight; also elastic isn’t pinchy or uncomfortable - Pockets are deep, more than sufficient to hold a cell phone or ID - Fabric has medium stretch; 4” stretches to over 6.5”/about 75% stretch Cons: - The inner liner is quite wide (4”) through the crotch area, and isn’t constructed with a gusset, just a seam between the front and back pieces - The inner liner is a different color (black) and fabric (swim lining) than the outer shorts - The fabric is surprising easy to wrinkle, and slower than hoped to dry from soaking - I probably could have sized down in the body of the shorts, but the waist elastic would not have fit at that point. Overall: I liked the shorts and found the fit ok and comfortable. Design changes I’d have preferred: boardshorts fabric for the body of these as it is lighter in weight and dries almost instantly, to toggle or use a drawstring vs elastic to cinch the top/waist, and a smaller pocket with an invisible zipper to securely keep keys and a credit card in the waistband area. I plan to consider using these as an all-purpose bottom in my summer travel wardrobe for hiking, watersports and sightseeing/touristic activities.
