Toby loves this fence, and I do too! I use it with my RV and Gazelle shelter to allow him to come and go from inside the RV, to the outside as he pleases. He loves this freedom, and I like that he can roam freely on our campsite without worrying he'll wander off to go visit his friends and neighbors. This fence is really well designed and easy to use. Super simple to install and configure as you need it. You can really set it up with any angles you need with the easy to install spikes. You may need a rubber mallet if you come across firm or rocky ground. The stakes don't need to penetrate the ground much, but the more they do, the more stable the fence becomes. I try to hammer the spikes down until they are flush with the fence rails. My only gripe is with the 40" fence, where there are two latches on the gates, and if you have a dog on a leash or are carrying anything, you need both hands to open the gate. Opening the gate can prove challenging without both hands. I reached out to the vendor and they were very receptive to this feedback and have in fact indicated there is a new latching add-on coming that will address this concern. I give this fence 5-stars since it does exactly what I need, can handle any configuration I need (as long as I have enough panels), and the company stands behind their product and is willing to consider feedback. I have 32 x 40" panels for the front RV area, and 16 x 24" panels to cover the backside of RV. I also got the bumpers to protect my RV paint, and the bags to carry and store the fences. We needed a strong, easy to set up fencing system for our three large dogs (each weighing around 70 lbs.) when we go camping. The 16 panel system seems to be the right size for us. I’ve taken a shot of the 16 panel on concrete with the dogs inside and several of the 8 panel version on the grass. The inside measurements for the 16 panel is roughly 14’-6” x 8’-6” while for the 8 panel is 6-1/2’ x 6-1/2’. The 8 panel holds all three dogs but they can’t move around much. I think I would prefer the 16 panel even for one dog if I was going to be camping in a location for a while. You can use as many panels as you’d like since they are held together by a pointed pole that slides through connectors to the panels. On concrete, the panels could be moved by a determined dog but I don’t think they would be able to get out. They might be able to move the fence some, but it wouldn’t go far and I doubt that they could knock it over. You shouldn’t leave your dogs unsupervised where they would have time to attempt this anyway. On the ground, this fence isn’t going anywhere. Buy a rubber mallet and pound each of the rods into the ground. You can pound them roughly 6” into the ground. My dogs stand up vertically behind our wooden fence at home but I had a hard time getting them to stand up on this fence. They didn’t like the wire going between their toes. Look at the picture of the shepherd with one foot on the top and the other one in the air. None of them liked jumping up on the fence, which is a good thing. I did get all three to briefly jump up and the fence didn’t bulge. I feel good with this, especially when the poles are hammered into the ground. When you purchase the 16 panels, you are really getting two 8 panel sets. So you wind up with two doors. There is a 6” step up to enter, but my dogs had no problems with that. This is the most sturdy fence system that we have tried and so far, we’re really happy with it! ... show more

    • Great to use for what it is, don’t expect thick/strong gates.

I ordered three sets of the 40in 32 panels for our yard so that our dogs won’t wander outside. Each 32 panels gate set will include two dog gates, instructions and gloves (may vary depending on how many panels you order). The weight of the entire package is very heavy so I’d recommend opening the box first, then separating the contents one by one. Each fence is lightweight so there are no issues in terms of carrying it individually. The shipping arrived on time, but a few gates did get damaged/bent but didn’t affect the performance. They are rectangle shaped fences, with a bit of curve on the top. They are pretty thin, but the size and height of the fence was perfect for our large dogs to not jump over. In terms of staying in place, don’t expect it to be durable. I know my dog can knock the entire fence down if he tried, or if someone fell onto the gates it would definitely move. These fences are attached to a thin stake, and prefer twisting (or maybe hammering) onto the ground. The door is a bit tricky and inconvenient to open and close as you have to unlock the door with both hands, pushing the lock upwards. If your hands are full (ex. carrying groceries) then it’s definitely inconvenient. If you are lugging large items that need to pass through, you’ll have to remove the stake and move the gates over as the door design has a small fenced bottom. For the overall price it is reasonable in terms of performance, as this gate serves its purpose of creating a divide by keeping my dogs safe along with preventing small wild animals from coming inside. I had five dogs when I bought this , I still have five this is so heavy when I was picking it out I was looking at steaks to put in ground to hold it but husband said wait I’m glad I did , we bought the large one it has three door ways but my dogs are very expensive so I bought locks and my smallest one who’s only 6 or 7 lbs figured out right away to dig under so my husband lined inside next to fence with strong that stopped the digging with four dogs jumping on it and barking at people going buy they go nuts this fence has not moved a inch this is one of the Best Buy’s we invested in we live in country but next to a busy road we used to put them out one at a time on a long tie out which was a pain but now they all go together it’s so easy , less time consuming, we have the ring doorbells so we can keep a eye on them , I can’t say enough good things about this fence , and one last thing when we were putting this together we were missing two important pieces Amazon contracted sell we had the pieces in two days the seller mail right out great seller . ... show more
