FXW fences come in 24", 32", 40", 45", and 50" heights. Choose based on your dog’s shoulder height — the fence should be at least 10" taller. For example, 24" for dogs up to 14" tall. For jumpy or active dogs, go one size higher for safety. Can I buy extra panels, gates, or stakes if I need more? Yes! FXW offers additional panels, gates, and stakes that can be purchased separately. You can easily find them by searching for “FXW panels/gates/ stake” or by visiting the FXW brand store. Can I connect two sets together to make a larger play area? Yes. FXW playpens from the same series, even in different sizes, can be easily connected to create a larger or differently shaped space. For better stability, we recommend connecting playpens of the same height (for example, two 32" sets). Can I connect different series or types of playpens together? Different FXW playpen series have slightly different connection designs. Please contact FXW team to confirm compatibility before connecting different series. This is by far a must have for ur pets its a playpen / crate all in one the gates connect and can be shaped as u desire plus the rubber stoppers at the bottoms are very sturdy they do not move or slide on my hardwood floors the weight material and build quality is very good it was also very Easy to assemble i have 2 yorkies and they have plenty of room to play i made a potty area with the extra gates i had left over i highly recommend this product ! ... show more

This has worked out very well for my golden retriever from age 2 months to 9 months. It was easy to assemble and the sections can be oriented in many ways as the hinges are flexible for over 180 degrees. But for a big dog that jumps up and rests paws on the top it can skew the cage out of the original configuration. Nevertheless it works well and the double latch keeps the dog inside. I have the 3x3x3x3 panels in a square configuration which is roughly 7x7 feet. My dog seems to prefer sleeping in the pen even when we leave it open for him to roam. Not sure I would call it heavy duty but it is perfectly adequate.. I personally would not use it outside, at least in Florida as I I think it would rust. I would buy this again. ... show more

It is the best pen for any dogs. My dog had ACL surgery and she is a 100 pound Saint. Between the cone which she had to wear and the size of her, this was the best way for her to be contained in the most comfortable way. It is very easy to assemble, the height was perfect, easy to keep clean and is very durable. I didn't even use all of the panels, it would probable be great as a puppy pen for someone. It was a life saver for me. I actually keep it up all the time with the door open, she feels safe and secure in it. ... show more

This sturdy pen was a great purchase. It's perfect for our needs with our Standard Schnauzer puppy. We bought her home when she was 4 months and this was a big help along with the easy-care play mat shown in the product description. It was easy for me to put together. It's pen is heavy so I opened the box in the foyer and carried the pieces into the living room one at a time. We bought the 12 panel but I ended up only using 8. I used the leftover panels to make a couple of doorway barriers which works fine in our home. Our puppy isn't jumping on them. I got the 40" height as she'd be able to jump over the 36" when she's full grown. We put a crate inside the playpen for when we weren't home but she's now able to just stay in the playpen when we go out. The playpen's gate is easy to operate with one hand as the mechanism lifts both latches at the same time. I like that there's no high threshold to step over like others have. Definitely get the mat too. It'll protect your floor/carpet. ... show more

This dog play pen was perfect for our needs. Our dog is 16 years old, blind and showing signs of dementia and bowel problems. This pen is keeping her safe. She has plenty of room to walk around and the pad from the same company fits in it nicely. We love the gate that we can open with one hand and does latch by gravity - very helpful because we carry our dog outside and then she walks in and easily steps over the entrance. Each section angle is very easy to adjust because the sections are light weight, but the silicone pads keep them in place and the entire structure is very sturdy. We would have had to buy the taller version in our dogs younger years because she would have been able to jump over, but for now this is perfect. I do wish I didn’t have to take the connector poles out to take it down & could just fold it up, but it only goes down to a z instead of being able to fully fold flat, but I think that would be a hard design change because the connector poles keep the sections nice & close. It took about 10 minutes for me to set up the first time and we think it’s well worth the money. If our dog were to pass, we would use it for a new puppy because it’s way better than a crate. ... show more
