I like the Opoiar futon but it arrived damaged. I thought the corner backrest was compressed from shipping- however when I checked closer the left corner of the backrest wooden frame was broken. I spent 3-1/2hrs on hold and talking with 5 different reps. The resolution is They are giving me a gift card with full refund so I can reorder- today. I have to disassemble & try to put back in the torn box. The pickup carrier will pick up on Wednesday. I’m 75 yrs old and today has been exhausting- I’m hoping the replacement arrives In perfect condition. I spoke with Owen, Bench, Robert and Ancie. Also was referred to Megan who was Customer Service rep for the manufacturer. She referred me back to Amazon Customer Service. The final Rep Ancie was very helpful. It was a lot of work to assemble, talking to 5 reps & disassemble & try to tape the box back together. I’m hopeful though that I still a good product with my reorder. ... show more

I have been putting off ordering a sofa. I'm never home for delivery and I was worried about supply chain delays. But I knew I would be home on one day and ordered - 2 day delivery. The futon was in such a small box I was amazed. It took me about 12 to 15 minutes to assemble. I spent 5 minutes looking for the legs - they were neatly packed inside a bottom zipper pouch! I found this while looking for a convertible couch to go in my office for guests and the occasional nap. Assembling the legs was a little finicky, but overall very simple. It's comfortable enough to crash out on for short bursts, but I would suggest the addition of some kind of additional mattress pad if you intend on having someone sleep on it long-term. Shipping time was terrible though, so I have to dock a star for that. It took nearly 3 weeks to arrive due to stocking issues. ... show more

It arrived on time and in good condition. The box is too heavy and bulky for one person to lift so my husband and I carried it inside and I opened the box and carried the pieces individually to where I wanted to put it together. The directions were really simple and I got it together in less than 10 minutes. It's fine as a couch, but I got a mattress topper to add more cushioning when it's used for a bed. Well, even with the mattress topper I can still feel the middle where the cushion folds down. It's good enough to sleep for a night or two but not to sleep on regularly. It's great if I sit on it for a few minutes but I can definitely feel the base if i sit on it for too long. The cushion isn't very thick so buying a topper would be best if you're planting to sleep on it. Other than that it's nice, sturdy, and easy to assemble.

For the money, this is a good buy. It's versatile - using it in my home office which occasionally I will now convert to an extra guest room. Love the ability to fold up the sides for a "pillow" or armrest function. This was a good buy and I was able to put it together myself.
