This product has cheap and weak particle board and weak screws that stripped out and the particle board split and the designed rustic wood layer peeled. Lets not even mention how many holes that were supposed to be pre drilled weren't. I am putting chihuahuas in thankfully because any bigger dog and they could break through fast! Beautiful piece of furniture and amazing space for my two medium size dogs. I have a beagle and a Heeler mix that like to be in the same kennel. So this gives them the space they need and lets them be together. I gave 4 stars because it is a bit cheap. The instructions were not very clear for someone who may not have much experience putting furniture together. It didn’t come with any tools to put it together either; I’m so glad I had some of my own. Highly recommend power drill, it will make it easier. Once put together it seems pretty sturdy but the back is a couple flimsy pieces of board that slide into place. So if you have a dog that tries to get out of their kennel while you’re away, don’t get this. The bars are also a thick wood not metal. Again, if your dogs are well trained and don’t have anxiety, this might work for you. I like the deep shelves and the top looks really nice. All in all it looks good. I’m not sure I’d put a TV on top but that also depends on how well you trust your dogs on the inside. If they move around too much, whatever is on top might come down. My dogs are pretty well behaved but I do have a chewer. So I’m interested to see how long this will last. And for the money I spent I expected something a little more dog proof. I also highly recommend listening to the instructions and have two people to put this together. I only have myself and it would have been a lot smoother had I had another person when it was time to put the big pieces on and to flip it. Hope this review helps the next person 😊 ... show more

The bottom board and the side board came with cracks. The wood isn't the best quality. But it was well packaged. Other than that, It suits my needs and I really like it. My grandson was skeptical about it holding the weight of my microwave but it does and hasn't given any problems. I store my baking pans and cutting board in the top slots. Please consider adding doors to hide the storage. ... show more

This kennel is very nice. It took two people to put it together, but it wasn't difficult. My dogs actually like being in it. I have two yorkies and didn't put the divider in it. We bought this wooden kennel, and it didn’t even last six months. The doors and walls started breaking with regular use — just opening and closing them. The wood is weak, the joints loosened quickly, and the dogs could easily break out of it with no problem. The wood quality is poor. We were skeptical at first but still gave it a chance… clearly, that was a mistake. It’s a cheap product disguised as something better. I would not recommend it. ... show more
