This is my first time playing around with an airbrush. I think this was a good one to start because I was was able to figure out how to use it without any issue. Everything was included to get started - well, everything except paint. This is comfortable to hold and easy to dispense paint. Cleaning was tricky at first but I finally figured out how to clean the nozzle. My biggest problem is trying to figure out some actual projects that would let me really know what this is capable of. The only thing I had trouble with was trying to get an even amount of paint to come out. Not sure if it is my lack of practice or not. Being a beginner, I don’t have anything to compare this to. I think once I get the hang of this, I might want to invest in a different one. But for the cost, this is a good beginner option.

I got this (at the time of writing, it's priced at 35.99) and the cheaper one (29.99) The only difference (aside from design/color) is the extension cable. It's already light and portable but having something smaller is very nice. I will say, it's not as though you can set it down on the table or something while you work. Any movement with the cable will knock the compressor over and drag it along. Maybe place it in a heavy container or simply hold on to it with your other hand. ( I did try putting the compressor in my large apron pocket but I was concerned about smothering any vent holes or something. Worked fine though. Maybe I'll make a special mesh pocket for this to sit in.)
