So I thought the handles had padding and they do not. Just the same leather like material in a zippered fashion as the chair. But they do NOT stay put, twist and turn and offer no real comfort for resting your arms. So disappointed. On the surface, this looks like an expensive (off white) office chair. But the arm covers cheapen it primarily because they do not stay in place. The chair is comfortable, good support for my back and is not awkward to sit in. You can adjust the seat height (I'm tall so this helps) but if you're taller than 5'11" or 6' you may want a different chair because you will feel too low to the ground with your knees hitting a standard height desk. There's no thick padding but its still comfy. If you have wide hips and/or are "thick" than this might not be the chair for you as its about the same feel/size as an airline or standard movie theatre or stadium seat. ... show more

This chair is easy to assemble, seems like nice quality and initial impression is good. The only negative feedback I have is this chair is similar to an airplane seat.
