I did it alone. Didn't take long. Instructions omitted a few steps. Put the doors on before you screw the top down. Make sure the holes are placed correctly for the shelf. Otherwise, it was easy. This is a nice TV stand. The reason I didn’t give this a 5 stars is the instructions were missing a step, so I had to be creative and assume where some pieces go. Also, on the instructions there are two boards that are supposed to be labeled “E” and “F.” I didn’t have “E” at all, but it came with 2 Fs, so the unfinished surface of the other “F” shows in the front after I put the TV stand up. The instructions and labels are the pieces were not the best and whoever made these need to review them before packaging them! ... show more

I was worried it was going to come damaged, because the box is really heavy. My package was damaged on the outside of the box, but everything inside was In perfect condition. I feel really lucky. There was styrofoam inside and I received all of the pieces, there was nothing missing. I read a lot of the negative reviews about people missing some nails or screws. Luckily that didn't happen to me and I think you should give this company a chance. I'm 22 years old I've never assembled anything ever, let me tell you how easy this was to assemble. The instructions were easy. All it takes is an old screw driver and a stone rock because there is one step at the end when you need to hammer some pins in the back, that took 1 minute and done (I didn't have a hammer I just used a rock). There were no errors from the factory it was sooo easy. This looks wonderful it's sturdy. It came flawless. Give it a chance! For $70 it's worth it. ... show more

I am providing a 5-star rating for this product due to its ease of assembly. However, I must mention that two of the posts were damaged at the end. Despite this challenge, I successfully managed to make it fit after some effort. It came with no damage to the wood prices but some of the hardware was messed up. The screws it had for the door handles were not good, only one handle would go on and it's a little loose. The price was so good tho I don't really mind. All in all a decent product

We looked at multiple brands for a product that would match our height/depth/width requirements for the allotted space given for the tv and stand. Most products were in the hundreds and thousands of dollars range but came assembled (which I now value even more). That being said- this product was just right for the price range and they had the fit requirements as well as the color choice we wanted to match our pre-existing table. I’m not the most assemble savvy person in the world but I have put together beds and bookcases so I figured I’d try the tv stand and add it to my resume of skills. I’ll save you the suspense: I was able to get it together but let me offer you this piece of advice, make sure you know the function of all pieces and how they work together before assembling. I laid all the pieces out as described and numerically put out all the assembling pieces which was helpful. The assembly pamphlet is not close up nor super clear so you really need to pay attention to where the holes and lines are and not just the labeled letter piece. On the graph some screws bolts and pegs are all noted as little black things and look the same so it took some time for me to figure which pieces went where. Honestly pictures of each step would have been more helpful than the vague drawing representation- like actual pictures would have been helpful. For me. I digress. About three hours later I had it finished even though it says about an hour assembly time- if you’re doing this in an hour you have help and pre-disposed skills in your back pocket and maybe no distractions…. It’s a fine piece of furniture but the plywood isn’t the most sturdy- if you’re looking for a more solid piece of furniture spend the money and get solid wood, pre-assembled with nice employees who deliver it and place it where you want it. This was right for the price and looks and fits nicely but I wouldn’t mind a do over of the instruction pamphlet. But thank you for having the color and style we needed for a good price point. ... show more

First, a few pieces came chipped, which I didn't make a big deal about because I just moved into my apartment at the time and I needed something to put my living room television on. But the instructions are like trying to decipher ancient scripture or something. I tried doing this alone and I was literally ready to just send the entire thing back because of how unorganized the instructions were. If my husband hadn't come and put it together I would've left the Tv on the floor. Sturdiness is pretty good I'd say but then again my husband added extra screws in places that were wobbly. Lastly the swinging doors on the front suck. My daughter pulled them both off within a week getting playstation controllers out of them. But if you're looking for something last minute that isn't expensive.. This is a good go to. ... show more
