Would you believe that I'm writing this review 6 years later? That's how you know this product is good! At first, this stand served as a regular TV stand holding a 32 inch and then I adopted a hamster and had to buy a cage that weighed 40 pounds with no where to put it. So on the stand it went with the TV sitting on top of the cage. 7 months later, the stand is still holding on strong with no signs of buckling! I remember having minor issues assembling it and I do think there should be a video or instructions with words, but after it was built, I haven't had any issues after all this time! Would definitely buy another should the time come to needing one or I would recommend for someone else to buy one! ... show more

Assembling is easy, good engineering work. Overall product is fine but handles I is not fitting with screws provided need to get new screen to get this fixed and J door is rubbing the base . Rest of all other things are fine

I just moved and had no entertainment system. I needed something that was medium size and affordable. I found this product on Amazon. So far, I give it 5 stars. What I love the most is that it looks really nice. The design is great. The two little cabinet it has at the end is very useful. It's also very sturdy. I will say the assembling is the only negative. But hey- it's an entertainment system and I'm not the brightest when it comes building, so that's on me. It took me probably 2 hours to build it. A lot of parts and a lot of screws. The package labeling was good, but the instructions could use major improvement. There's a step (picture 3) where it doesn't tell you which way the boards should be facing. I nearly finished assembling before I realize they were facing the wrong way. Had to take everything apart because that step was near the beginning. Also, you do need a solid screw driver and hammer to assemble. Not included, which is fair...And lastly, it's heavy. I built this solo since I live alone. It took some muscle. Also, two of the round plug tabs were warped and I could not fit them in properly. But I'm mentioning this because as soon as I contacted the company, they immediately shipped out the replacement. A+ service! Over all, I'm very satisfied and I love this product. 5/5 star would buy again. ... show more

Mine arrived in a pretty raggedy shape. The box looked like it had been tossed around and shoved and stood on. Corners were tattered and torn and a big dent later on revealed that this poor thing had seen things that might have been horrific. However, the amount of damage that was actually on the item itself from it's rough transport, was minimal compared to the photos I have seen other reviewers showing. I kept mine. The missing chunks of wood (it's composite/mdf type wood) were easily covered and hidden with a wood coloring pen. They were also luckily in spots that would make it hard to see for anyone just looking at it. The cupboard handles are cheap, grey plastic. They do look cheap and plastic. Instead, I opted to buy two handles to replace these. I did end up having to drill out one of the two holes for them to fit, but the handle hid it once it was installed. It went together fairly easily, and it did take quite a while to get it all together. I did it myself so it's definitely a one person job. I did not put my 55" tv on it, I expect the weight of the tv over time would cause a dip to begin to occur in this cheap wood. The color I chose was really nice. It does not look very cheap at all now that I've changed the handles. It's thick enough that it's sturdy, but not of very high quality. Storage is not so great. The shelves are very short in height. Though they are deep. It hold my PS2 and DVD player nicely. Meh, it is what it is, but don't expect Lane quality from this. ... show more

The title is all we really need to know, but I’m going to include some details, anyway. While I didn’t time how long it actually took me, construction didn’t take forever. Written instructions, as opposed to only illustrations would have been more helpful, but I understand that when products are being made by folks whose primary language isn’t English, sometimes pictures make more sense. I appreciated how each parts bag was labeled with its number, which matched up to the parts list in the instructions. Each wood part was labeled, also, with a little white sticker. At a few different steps, I found that if I stared at the illustration long enough, the solution would come to me. My biggest problems were quite small. I included photos of them. 1. Item #13, which I finally figured out was a cord organizer, I wound up installing on the back of Part C, above the gap between the two back pieces. The diagram was ambiguous as to the intended location. 2. Bag #10 contained 4 wood screws, which were intended to attach the metal handles to the doors. Each handle had two predrilled and threaded holes. Instead of screws, they should have included bolts, because only two of the screws managed to grab the threads. Luckily, the Jackson-Palmer Nut & Bolt kit that I bought last year from Amazon continues to pay for itself. (I’ll post the link for that at the end of my review.) Strangely enough, I needed to locate two different size bolts, because the predrilled holes were two different sizes. It’s a decent tv stand, nothing crazy. I paid about $55 for it on sale however I definitely would not pay the full price which is currently $119, it’s simply just not worth that much. It’s not the sturdiest thing in the world since it’s particle board and in a few years I know I’ll be replacing it but for $55 I’m happy with it. The instructions are complicated and the hinges for the doors are super cheap I mean they’re just little pieces of plastic and one of the got damaged while installing it. Would I pay $55 for it again? Sure, but for $119 you can find something infinitely sturdier and of better quality. ... show more
