The main material- Particleboard is made from recycled materials of rubber trees. All the materials are manufactured in Malaysia and comply with the green rules of production. There is no foul smell, durable and the material is the most stable amongst the particleboards. A simple attitude towards lifestyle is reflected directly on the design of Furinno Furniture, creating a trend of simply nature. All the products are produced and packed 100-percent in Malaysia with 90% - 95% recycled materials. Care instructions: wipe clean with clean damped cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals. I spent weeks trying to understand if I should by this TV stand and I wasn't sure if it was a good buy because of some bad reviews. I don't watch my television, so I didn't want to spend much money on it, but because the price was great and I loved the design, I decided to buy it anyway. I am so glad I did. It is very big and super easy to assemble. The parts are made of a cheap material, but that cheap material seems extremely sturdy and because of the architecture of this furniture, I doubt there would be issues with the middle section sinking. I am so glad I bought it. Obviously, it is a TV stand that costs $80, so I don't expect it to last 10 years, and I know I have to be careful on what I put on it, but it seems much sturdier than many TV stand that cost more than $300. I vividly suggest this TV stand, especially for people with a limited budget and people that are in temporary situations. ... show more

I was surprised 1) at how annoying it was to put together. Not hard, just annoying. Everything twists together but the quality of the twists is not good. 2) once it's together, it's very sturdy. We have a 60in tv on it and a lot of candles and books. It's not very tall but you can fit a lot of stuff in the nooks and crannies. ... show more

Please note: This TV stand is very, very short. I could see a lot of people not paying attention to the listing's measurements and overestimating the size of this stand. That aside, this is a very cool TV stand if you need a small, short little stand. It was very simple to put together and the final product looks great. I had a specific need for a small, corner TV stand that could support a smaller (but still heavy) CRT TV. It's perfect for sitting on a beanbag or other seat close to the floor, just like the good ol' days. The stand would definitely be way too short if you were sitting on a couch or bed. But it fit my needs perfectly. I'll update this if the stand catastrophically fails or something. ... show more

    • Simply awful on every level

At the risk of sounding melodramatic, this is quite possibly the worst product I've ever bought. When I opened the box, I saw that the styrofoam padding had disintegrated and covered every nook and cranny of the various parts with little balls of foam that didn't want to come off (and when they did finally come off, the surrounding area of the room was then covered in them too. Oh joy). Next, I took out the top board and saw that it was heavily warped. And finally, many of the holes weren't machined correctly either. I mean seriously, wtf? I realize that this is a cheap piece of furniture and thus it shouldn't be held to the highest of standards. But most companies couldn't screw up this badly if they tried. ... show more

    • Very thin veneer, damaged corners, difficult to assemble without 2 people

The veneer covering the particle board is very thin. One corner was damaged upon arrival, even though box was in tact. I would call the color black, although description says “espresso” which I expected to have a touch of brown to it. You must have a Phillips head screwdriver and a hammer or mallet to assemble. It would have been much easier with 2 people since 1 end of 2 lateral pieces needs someone holding the other end level while you screw in the other end. I used a stack of books to hold up 1 end while I screwed the other end. I guess you get what you pay for. It’s cheap and is functional, but not sturdy and not high quality. ... show more

Very impressed, arrived on time, packaged well and is a nice table. You can use it for multiple reasons but I'm using it in my bedroom as a 55" tv stand. I assumed it would be thin plywood but it's not. It's really nice and I would buy again for myself or as a gift. We'll worth the money.

Perfect size for my son’s room. Make sure you check dimensions, as it is pretty short, but perfect for larger tvs. My 9 year old helped me put it together and it took us under 10 minutes. No tools needed. The legs just screw into each other/the boards. Great quality for the price.
