I almost bypassed this one due to the negative reviews. However, there were far more positives so I decided to go for it. This is the exact size I was searching for. When it arrived, the first thing I did was to check the parts list to make sure everything was there. Did a quick browse through the instructions, which were very good, and started the assembly process. I can't believe how easy it was to assemble! No tools!! The directions weren't really clear about where the black plastic rings went but I figured it out. It took me about 20 minutes to assemble. I am a female octogenarian and if I can assemble this, anyone can. When finished, I turned it up right and tested for stability. Was perfect. If the leg pieces are tightened properly, there's no reason for it NOT to be sturdy. The plastic legs don't look like plastic, they look like wood. The shelves were not scratched or marred in any way but there was a whitish ridge around the edges. No problem - that's why they invented permanent markers. I just ran the black marker around those edges and it worked perfectly. I put a 50" TV on top of the stand and it looks GREAT!! As for the fabric drawers - they aren't the greatest but from the front view, they look nice. They're probably something I would never use and should I decide not to, that shelf could be used for other things. Bottom line is, I got more than my money's worth with this shelf. I do not understand the negative reviews. If it is put together properly, it is very sturdy. Any imperfections on the pressed wood can easily be fixed with a black pen. Was able to assemble this in approx 30 mins and NO TOOLS required. It is strong enough to do what it was made for. If not abused it will last years. This tv stand took me 10 minutes to assemble. It was so easy. It is sturdy and holds our 50” tv no problem. The drawers are flimsy and not really functional so I’m rating this 4 stars instead of 5. For the price, it is a nice tv stand and you can’t go wrong with this one.

For the price and from some of the reviews I read I was expecting way worse. It's sturdy only shakes if your shaking the actual tv stand back and forth but it's more sturdy than I expected the two fabric storage spots at the bottom are fabric and cardboard but mine look nice don't look flimsy or wrinkled very easy to assemble. It doesn't take long to figure out which piece goes where while setting up the table. Love how it doesn't require any tools, I can simply screw it on. Looks great in the corner of my room. Best of all, it was budget friendly compared to similar tables like this. Definitely worth what I paid for. Would recommend to anyone looking for something that is convenient and budget friendly. This is definitely one of those you get what you pay for situations. I really like this tube assembly furniture. I have several pieces that have been with me for decades. Assembly is a cinch. The tubes are usually plastic and just screw in. The best part is if you move or have to store it, you can disassemble them easily. I bought this particular TV stand with the knowledge I was only going to use the bottom half of it since my tv is sitting on a riser and I just basically needed a short stand to make it the height I prefer. Unfortunately the two pieces I needed were the only two pieces that came scratched up. All the pieces were filthy, as if someone stepped on them. In one panel, the scratch is long, but not too deep. On the top panel, it's much deeper, almost cut into the surface. Once the tv was on it, you don't see it as much, but I'm not fond of something I buy new already looking like it got beat up. The fabric drawers are very chintzy with a piece of thin cardboard in the bottom of each. I'm not sure what you could store in there that wouldn't blow out the bottom when you slide the drawers out. I'm going to add another piece of thick cardboard for more stability. For around forty dollars at the time of purchase, this seemed like a great deal, but I'm a little hesitant to recommend it. ... show more

This was absolutely by far the easiest piece of furniture I have ever had to assemble. Didn’t even need any tools. The only thing that question is that I got 12 large washers, and the instructions did not show where they went. They also did not match up with the quantity of any of the rest of the parts.
