I been wanting to get a better curling iron for awhile now so was so happy I found this. I have always hated curling my hair because it takes so long for the thing to heat up with this it promised 15 seconds to heat up and oh my god they were so right this heated up super fast. The display is awesome making it easy to get the right temperature your looking for. Its sleek and modern looking with a beautiful blue hue to it. It not only does the job but looks good doing it. It is more lightweight than I thought it would be but after some time holding it my wrists did give me a slight fit but thats normal for my bad wrists. I love the safety lock feature this definitely comes in handy if your a clutz like me or you just have kids or pets so that they don't get burned. Although it is long its still sleek enough to carry on trips easier with the lock on it makes it take up even less space. I have thick hair and it is always the worst in trying to make curls happen and stay but thanks tot his wonderful iron it does just that keeps them looking silky and beautiful. I honestly think this is the best iron I have seen before takes the place of all the cheap ones no longer needed. This is the ultimate iron to do it all for all hair types. This is a super sleek hair iron for straightening or even loose curling any type of hair, no matter your ethnicity. The instructions show pictured instructions for soft curling too which is great!. There are three different temperature degree range setting suggestions for each type of hair from Fine (265-350F), Average (360-400F), and Thick/Multi-textured Hair (410-450F). Easy rotating cord so you won't get tangled while using. Easy to use controls, on and off switch, lock and unlock so you don't accidentally burn anything when you set this down on your counter. I love the readable temp window, and it is very easy to raise or lower the temp. It has 20 different degrees settings for you to choose from, you just have to find the right one for you. Fast heating and with the slick floating plates your hair will slide right through quickly without damage when used properly and they don't pull your hair!! I think the handle and slim style make this very easy to control in your hand so that you have less chance of dropping this iron or burning yourself while using. My daughter has a ball of fuzz for hair. It's a mess. I have curly hair, but she got some kind of mixture that doesn't quite curl well, nor is it straight. I used the straighter on her hair, and it worked out well. It didn't exactly leave her hair silky, it was kind of stiff, but I'm wondering if I had the setting too high. There are 20 settings to choose from. I do like that there is no guessing like my other straightener that has a dial with small numbers. I suppose you can the straightener to curl, like it says it does, but that's not something I'm going to use the straightener for curling. Overall, I like the straightener, mainly because it has a digital temperature control, but I'm not sure if it's worth $50 (the price at the time of this review). ... show more

My daughter usually has pretty decent soft straight hair but I decided to run the straightener through to see how well it would do. I had already used it on myself and loved the ease of use. I’m pretty impressed, the right side of the ponytail with no products added, just brushed and the straightener applied twice left this result. Left side of pony tail is untouched to show before and after. Quick heat up only about 10 seconds until ready to use, super pretty coloration.. I thought it was flat black but it’s actually glittery black, very attractive and pretty. Easy to use the spinner temp dial at the base, I had no issue with buttons being bumped or changed like I did with other straighteners while using so I am very happy with both the quality of tool as well as how good it works. ... show more

So this is a straightener, I’m not really one to style my hair often but occasionally I like to fix the bump from my hair tie or add some curl in and this is perfect for that. I have type 1A/2A hair very fine and thin. Now if you have a coarser texture and curl pattern I can’t say how well it will or won’t work for you. This is a light weight straightener which is great if you have a lot of hair and end up having to work at it for a while and your arms get tired. It’s got a very “Dyson” style to it and is easy to operate, just flip it on and turn the bottom. Now my FAVORITE part…ITS BLACK HOLO GLITTER. Like if this thing is available and you’re as obsessed with holo as I am, BUY THIS. Pictures don’t do this thing justice its an absolute explosion of holographic glitter it’s gorgeous. Absolutely obsessed and will need to start curling my hair more often. ... show more

There is really nothing spectacular or unique about this straightener. It performs well, heats quickly, and does what it claims. Even with that, it’s similar to every other straightener I’ve used. This 2 in 1 hair straightener/curler is the best one I’ve ever owned. I’ve gotten other straighteners from this brand and they are all amazing. It’s really nice quality. It works great and heats up very quickly. It has a lock and unlock button. It has a swivel cord. I love the color and the design of it, it’s so sleek looking.
