The only downside to this so far is he ripped off the fluffy ball within the first week. Everything else is sturdy and good. I was having trouble with the grooming attachment falling off for weeks. You really have to push it down into the sockets until you hear and feel a loud pop. Willy loved this thing from day one, and naps in it almost daily. I’ve had it for like two months now? I ordered an opened box one at first. When it arrived, one of the poles was literally broken, so I returned it with no issues and just bought a new one. I don’t know if it was broken during transit or if the quality test was a fail before being resold. Maybe if Amazon paid its workers more it would have been caught before being listed. It was a fairly straightforward build; however, it did take a few minutes to figure out the bolt sizes/labels. I labeled the clear packaging holding the bolts with sharpie to make things less confusing. One bolt was longer than all the others but was not accounted for in the product list so that was a bit weird. TBH I didn’t read the reviews before purchasing I just looked at the 12k 4.5 star rating. After assembling it and my kittens exploring it a bit, I read some of the reviews to see what others thought about it’s layout/size. It’s a really strange mix of height and platform size. Several reviewers suggested that this was well suited for kittens but I would add to say suited for kittens that are larger/older or able to jump up easily. It’s a 15” jump from the floor to the first available level which is too high for my kittens at their age/size. The compact nature is great for me to reduce the footprint in the house but it’s awkward for the kitties to maneuver between levels/platforms. They will get used to it I’m sure and full grown they are classified as small/medium cats so it may still work for them. They are spooked a bit by the wobble as they move up to the higher platforms. (I have to place them on the lowest level because they can’t get up there on their own yet). The platforms are very small at the top and the lower levels don’t have a lot of maneuverability because it’s crammed with posts and an awkwardly placed staircase. I may need to secure this to the wall to give better stability toward the top. I was impressed initially but feeling less happy with it after watching my cats try to use it. I will update in a few months as the kitties get bigger. ... show more

This is a great bed for smaller cats. I have 2 cats who weigh under 11 lbs and they love it. However, my 15 lbs cat is too big for it.

The media could not be loaded. I think that the hammock/scratch post is beautiful. I ordered the cream color as it matches the theme color of my furniture. It was very easy to assemble.
