I bought the Gel Eyeliner by Revlon, ColorStay Micro Hyper Precision Eye Makeup because I wanted a thinner eyeliner to use for my upper eyelid. I don't have a steady enough hand to use liquid liners to be thin like I want it. Because the loner is so thin you have to be every careful while applying it. I am still trying to find a way to get it to glide smoothly without breaking it. I think the trick is to not twist out too much keeping it very low and away it time to "warm up" before really gliding across your lid. But once I find my rhythm it goes on nice, thin and a deep rich black color. ... show more

This gel eyeliner is micro, allowing for a very precise line... which I love! Unlike a few reviewers, I've found that it is durable, lasting all day without budging. While the micro precision tip is susceptible to breaking, it's only happened a few times when the micro tip was too long. My only complaint is that it doesn't glide smoothly like other (more expensive) gel liners I've tried... it's ridged and can skip on the lid. This is perfect for creating a great thin line with ease. I find most liners are too wide for my thin lashes but this works great and goes on smoothly.

I gave this liner another chance, and it is such a shame. I love the precision lining, and it does glide easily. However, every single time I use it, it breaks off several times within each use. I have tried it very short, and it still happens. Waste of money for what could’ve been a great product.

When you get to a certain age, you have to be careful not to overdo it with the upper lids. This is perfect, very thin point, it’s a great color, and it doesn’t wear off halfway through the day. Washes off easily.
