I thought I was ordering a couple of cheap dog bed covers that *looked* nicer than thier well used dog beds, and I got them one size bigger than the beds because I was going to take my old memory foam mattress and cut it in squares to improve the dogs ever flattening dog beds. I bought 3, 2 in one style, and one in a different style. More than a month or two later, I have to say, I'm impressed. They are better than I expected but I was still wary, thinking they wouldn't hold up against 4 BIG rambunctious dogs, two of which are PUPPIES! These are really good! The dogs LOVE them. It's not just the extra padding, because I have an expensive store bought memory foam dog bed and they use the other 3 as much or more. I do have to say one of my cats claimed one in a certain spot as his, so they don't get to use that one as often, much to my shepherds dismay! So rather than throw out your old dog beds that are wearing out... maybe put two together, or get a foam mattress you can put with it for new life, because these will stand up to what your dogs dish out... and be ready to soothe them to sleep in its soft topper fabric!

This dog bed cover was an experiment for us. It is priced much less than many others and is made of a vinyl type fabric. Our dogs chew up everything and more expensive dog bed covers are a waste of money because they end up in more expensive shreds. The dogs didn't chew on these for quite a while when we put them on. They did eventually start wearing them out and tears began to appear but they may be the start of getting the dogs to stop chewing. We will see.

I had originally purchased the jumbo plush orthopedic version and it has lasted about a year and a half. When I would take off the cover to wash it pieces of the top of the foam would fall off and make a mess, but even with that issue it has held up decently well for the price point. I just received the jumbo water proof version and Iโve noticed two things 1. The foam itself is thinner than the one I have purchased previously 2. The detachable cover is a different material then the rest of the cover. Seems okay overall though, I can only hope it will hold up as well as the last one.

We were hoping to find a dog bed for use outdoors that was both comfortable and durable for our dogs (ages 12 and 7 months). We found the perfect match in this Fur Haven bed. Both our older pup, who isn't as active as he used to be, and the puppy, who is super active,, took to this bed right away. The cover is durable and has been easy to clean. The egg crate mat is supportive. The bed has been on a camping trip, but mostly stays on our back patio or fenced-in back yard. The lagoon color is nice, too.

Needed a replacement cover for the dog bed after the puppy destroyed the other. She even loves this cover more. Love that it's water proof and seems well made. The waterproof canvass one is kinda loud when she walk or move on it... but that's a small price to pay for durability.

Larger than I expected which is ok with me. Just the right thickness. I bought this for my older (16 yr) Golden Doodle to sleep on as she has trouble with her hips and was having a rough time getting off the floor. Now both my dogs sleep on it. Easy to clean, just un zip the cover and toss it in the wash. Thinking about getting another one for the living room!

My two dogs are about 60 lbs. each and have one Furhaven dog bed each on my van floor (seats are stow-and go, lots of room). I use the Furhaven Dog Bed covers double-stuffed with soft fabric-covered dog beds. Simply terrific and the dogs balk if I move them out - they love the comfort on our long travels together. This is a great dog bed! I have 2 dogs that each weigh 80 pounds. The XXL size is definitely large enough for both of them to lay on at the sane time. I bought it for the garage for them. The 5 inch foam supports their weight great. The zipper on the cover is very sturdy and the terry cloth fabric on top is very comfortable. The bed came vacuumed packed. After opening it, it took overnight to have the foam decompress back to its 5 inch height and firmness, no big deal. I had read in a lot of the 1 star reviews, that because the bed had been folded in the box, it did not come back to shape. That was not the issue with this bed. I looked at the foam, the next day, but couldnโt even tell it had been folded. Bottom line here is, the dogs love this bed!
