I'm NOT SURE the bowls are real stainless steel. If they are, I'm concerned they might be low grade/quality steel. Stainless steel can change colors when oxidized & magnets stick to stainless steel. I used a magnet to test these bowls. It did not sick (though the magnet isn't the strongest, it sticks on my stainless steel refrigerator). Black marks rubbed off on the towels I used to clean & dry the unused bowls. If I keep it, I'll probably try finding other bowls that fit BOWLS ASIDE, the puppy style stand: There is wiggle room that allows the nails to screw into the poles at an angle. If you don't screw the nails in perfectly straight, the whole stand will be slightly off kilter. (Only a problem if you're a perfectionist w/o perfected nail screwing skills.) Aside from that it's not hard to assemble, but they could've made it easier by using slats instead of nails or made it w/o wiggle room. I put a treat (on a paper towel) inside one of the bowls to see how it measures up with my dog (a 4y/o husky/border collie mix). Pictures attached. I also put some water on the wood to see how it holds up. I'll keep an eye on it and update my review. I ordered a similar product to compare. We shall see.... ... show more

After two days using, the bowl circle had become bubble like due to the water splashed. Not friendly to water bowl. Hard to assemble.

I love the adjustable height and sturdiness of the feeder. Very easy to assemble-just need a Phillips screw driver and you can have it ready for use in 3 minutes flat :)

Love this feeder and it has been great for my puppy to grow with! She moved quickly to the top level. My only problem is, when she drinks, the water splashes and gets on the floor (even with a mat underneath) which has caused water damage to the wood which makes me worry that it may not last as long as I would like. I have been contemplating purchasing another one...but would like to find away to prevent that from happening again. ... show more
