Build, Play, and Programming. Great Concept. Pink monster truck for girls is a plus. Needs clearer instructions for older devices that do not use QR Code scanning (with camera). Took some trial and error to figure out how to connect bluetooth and use app. App name is M.Tech. Restart device if it does not connect or the app does not run the first time. Making the truck bigger would be an improvement. Price is reasonable with coupon.

Both of my daughters are all about building stuff. So, when I saw this pink monster truck (color is what makes it very attractive to 2 young girls), I thought of giving it a chance. They were so excited to work on this lego-style STEM project as soon as it arrived. I have to admit that this is not really for 6 year old kids at least without a significant help from their parents. I ended up putting the truck together at the end. While instructions are nicely printed and colored, I thought it was a bit hard and sometimes confusing even for me. However, I still found it pretty good. Parts are very well fitting except the side rear windows and the front and rear bumper lights that were holding by one notch on each piece. They tend to come off from the truck easily but the rest of the truck is solid rock and stay intact even after hitting walls and falling from tables. Overall a great quality truck. We all loved playing with it. Remote works right off the box but it is hard for young ones to understand that both levers are about moving forward and backward but for left and rear wheels I would have assumed right lever to be reserved for left-right movements. Once you get hold off this, it was easy to use the remote too. What I liked a lot and also disliked was the App to control the truck from your phone. The app certainly has a lot of potential and when it works, it is great. However, the user interface needs a bit of work to make it more intuitive for the user and the instructions was not clear as to how to get and use the app. I am not sure why they were not more clear about the App and promote the App itself as it is wonderful to use with the truck. If you have curious kids who are interested in lego style building toys and STEM projects, this monster truck is a great gift. I would recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. My kiddos and I had a blast putting this thing together and even more fun driving it around. This is not too difficult of a built (about 30 steps clearly diagramed), my kids are 4 & 6 and each of them did a few sections with me being there to help walk them through any of it. It took about a week on and off to finish it. The pieces fit together pretty well and are compatible with most lego pieces, so you can customize this even further. The remote runs on 2 AA batteries and the monster truck on 3 AAA batteries; no batteries are included so make sure you have some handy. The remote automatically pairs with the vehicle when they are both on. It is well-packaged, well-designed and would make an excellent gift for any kid. I love these type of toys, because they are engaging, help elicit creativity and are extremely rewarding after completion. Great quality and performing product.

The media could not be loaded. Who doesn't love a good monster truck for running over everything in its path? We had a lot of fun putting together this kit. The design and decorative stickers were very cute, but the remote control was the star of the show for this set. My daughter played with this for an entire afternoon. She jumped it off of ramps and trampled over most of the house before taking it out into the yard and that's when it really shined. She drove that little Pink Truck all over the neighborhood and over every dirt pile she could find. This was a building set that TONS of playability.

After putting it together we were missing decals and the remote starting smoking first use. I contacted the seller and was told they would send a replacement car but to date nothing.

I bought this for my daughter to have a monster truck. Really hard to put together. Directions were not very clear. We could not get it to run even after replacing batteries.
