They're snug. I got the ones that were ten pounds each. There's no discomfort from wearing them directly onto my skin or doing exercises with them (I have tiny ankles). The straps don't arrive in prime condition, as there are a few frayed threads coming off them, but it's not much to worry about. The stuff inside does tend to slide and pool on the bottom. After using them for a while, the main grievance is putting them on, as the unbalanced weight causes the straps to twist sideways onto themselves when trying to put them through the rings. The straps tend to retain twists and folds after use. It helps to pat the weights flat before quickly trying to put them on. They're fine when they're on though. I just don't like how it pools heavily on the bottom, enough for the weight to contact the floor. It took two weeks for the free thing from their warranty card to arrive, but it got here so I'm happy for that. At first I thought they were just phishing for info, but they actually sent it. The customer support was actually honest, so I have to bump up my rating.

I had other ankle weights but they were not comfortable to use. I really like these. They are easy to take on and off, comfortable to wear, and I have others of this brand and each color is a different weight which I also like.

These weights are made of sand and are super comfortable! They are well designed and attach to my ankle nicely. The material is durable and is reinforced at the edges. I wear them without shoes so sometimes the weights drag on the ground because of gravity. But I don't see any signs of fraying because they are being dragged sometimes. So far so good!

I enjoyed the weights when I initially received them, comfortable LBS for walking. Within the first couple of weeks I started noticing black powder on my entrance mats and didn’t know where it was coming from. Till I realized that my weights were less heavy and powder through out my house. I started leaving my weights outside because I was tired of the black powder in my house. Now it’s all over the table I drop them off on. I would like a replacement since mine were defective. They’ve lost a lot of powder, they’ve flatten a-lot on the top. Edit - I have used these for 10 days now and they have started leaking sand. It is a very fine sand, but when I take them off there is sand left on the surface where I removed them. This will affect the weight of them eventually. Very nice weights, I am using them for my ankles at the time and they are very easy to put on and take off. The fit is good since it has a velcro strap that secures them. Although I am thin and they do slide down my leg to rest on the top of the ankle. I have not used them on my wrists. The material feels durable so we will see how they hold up. I do recommend them.
