It took me about three hours to assemble this on my own, though I did need an extra set of hands for a few minutes during three steps to secure the longer boards. The instructions were reasonably clear—similar to putting together Ikea furniture. I did run into some alignment issues: two of the H1 bolts for the slats were tough to get in, and the “I” board only lined up for three out of four bolts. It seems sturdy enough, but it’s not perfect. For the price, it’s okay—you really do get what you pay for. The slats feel a bit flimsy, and I expect I’ll need to replace them down the road. The arm padding is minimal, and the wood quality is as cheap as it gets. Overall, it works for now, but I’m not sure how long it will hold up.

So easy to put together my 14 year old assembled it by him self in about an hour or so. The drawers are the perfect size for throw blankets.

Initial review as I just put it together last night. The bed looks nice and was easy enough to put together. I did it mostly on my own with my husband helping during one part, trying to make some holes line up. There were 2 spots where holes didn’t line up nicely, but that was all. As well, the first time I put weight (150lbs) on the mattress, in the middle of the bed, I heard the slats start to crack. I will end up covering the slats with a plywood to reinforce it. I’m interested to see how it holds up over time.

This daybed fits the bill for what we needed—a compact, stylish solution with extra storage. The design is attractive, and the drawers are a nice touch for keeping things tidy. For the price, it’s functional and looks good from a distance. That said, the materials are about as cheap as they come. The wood feels flimsy, and one of the drawer faces arrived damaged. We didn’t want to deal with the hassle of returning it, so we made do—but it was disappointing. Shipping was also a bit chaotic. The product came in two separate boxes, delivered days apart, and the second box was mistakenly dropped off at a neighbor’s house. Not ideal when you're trying to assemble a large piece of furniture. Overall, it works—but don’t expect premium quality. If you're okay with a few compromises, it’s a decent value and effectively a disposable piece of furniture. I don't expect it to last terribly long with kids.

Love this bed. Purchased for my mom in a memory care home and there is limited space. The light is warm and glowing and she uses it as a couch as much as a bed. It’s very stylish and understated. The drawers are a bonus too. Could not be more pleased.
