Love how this turned out, easy to put together. So far very sturdy and my boys love have it added to their room. I also picked this due to its high weight capacity since our children like for adults to lay down with them from time to time so at least I know it wont beak due to adult weights. I ordered a 6in mattress in a box from amazon and it fits perfectly with only sheets and protector on bed, get 4/5in trundle mattress if you want to keep a comforter on it while stored. ... show more

The ONLY thing i wish was different is the size of the pull out bed, the depth. We have a 6 inch mattress on there and it's a little hard to pull out and push in. I wish it was a least an inch deeper. Other than that. I love this bed. It was extremely easy to put together. The instructions were clear. The build is nice and sturdy. The color is just as pictured (i got light gray) and it's a great price. Overall im very happy with it. I also have a 12 inch mattress on the top bed and that seems to be the perfect size. ... show more
