These tools are the right size, not too short or too long. I like that they include a full second set of cutting blades and that they come sharp and ready to go and they’re a lot easier on my wallet compared to stores. A lathe tool set that does its job. Sturdy, heavy-duty, easy to hold, extra blades included is nice. Makes this set a really good value for the money and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.

This tool set is well built and very strong. The handles are the perfect size for my hands to comfortably hold and they are a good length to reach the across my rest to the piece I’m turning and I like that they include an extra set of cutting tips. Excited to see what I can make now!

    • Updated due to good customer service: Cannot replace the blade because the screw strips
I experienced good customer service on the return even though it was a few days beyond the 30-day limit. So tools did work well, just be careful not to strip the screw when changing blades. I bought this just over 30 days ago and used it twice and no problems. However, I went to “rotate” the square carbide tip and the screw that holds it in place quickly strips. I did everything properly but now I cannot rotate it. I am trying to communicate to the company but struggling to do that and since it is just over 30 days since my purchase, it says I cannot return it. ... show more

Got a mini lathe for Christmas. My first projects for a storage box for my bandsaw blades. I've read that the carbides are easier to start the learning curve. So got these. The answer is yes.
