It is very heavy which means well made. Love the look It doesn’t over power the bedroom with too much wood. It was not hard to assemble. Would be easier with 2 people just to hold or support the other end during assembly but I am a 74 year old grandmother who put this together for my daughter and we both love the look!

Good bed for the price. It was decent assembly until the very end. The little plastic nubs that are on all the slats that need to be pushing into the bed sidebars to hold the slats in place are GARBAGE. They would bend whenever you go to push them into the holes and once they are bent, its hell to get them to go into the holes. Im sure those slats will be moving around in to time because almost all the the numbs would bend when trying to put them in the holes.... Also, whoever is in charge of making the instructions for the bed should be fired. They did a terrible job and mislabeled serval pieces. They put "E" when it should have been "F" for example. You had 1 job guy... or gal... So took a little guess work with the messed up - inaccurate instructions but we got it. Once out all together, the bed is good looking and study for the money.

The bed itself is very cute. Unfortunately the metal poles that go across did not fit in the slats. Also the holes for the screws do not match up so the bed did not get screwed together. I definitely took a hammer and forced the metal to go where it was supposed to go without being forced. Assembly was pretty easy other than the bars not fitting. The delivery was very fast and for the amount that it was.

Pros: I purchased the “brown” design and was actually very happy when i opened the box. I was expecting a cheap faux wood sticker on both the head and footboards but they were nicely done. There is a lot of texture to the print so it looks and feels real. I also had concerns about the pattern looking cheap and splotched but it doesnt, it looks like multi colored wood grain. Its also pretty sturdy. Cons: There is an overlap on part of the headboard but it happened to be on the backside that faces the wall Also, I like that it isnt low to the floor like other beds this style, but im not a huge fan of the thin metal legs showing. This can be covered with a larger sized comforter. We just used the twin size one my son already had. Overall It was relatively easy to assemble 30mins to 1 hour. Some of the screws were not lettered the same as the instructions but all the pieces were there. It looks great and my teenage son (5’7”, 140lbs) loves it and says its very comfortable.

Only thing I would say is pay attention to the screw size! I almost rebuilt the whole thing but then realized it was right! (Screw size)
