The shipping was impressively fast, arriving within a week. The bed came in three well-packaged boxes, each weighing about 100lbs. Despite the weight, unboxing was a breeze, and I was pleased to find no missing pieces. The quality of the wood is fantastic—sturdy and durable, with a smooth and well-painted finish. There were minimal scuffs on the painted wood, and no cracks or broken pieces, which was a relief. The instructions were clear and straightforward, making the assembly process easy to follow. That said, expect to spend 1-2 days assembling it, as it requires both hexagonal and Phillips screws. Once assembled, the structure is incredibly sturdy. The top bunk can hold up to 300lbs without any issue, which adds an extra layer of confidence in its durability. Ok, let me tell you, this took me like 2 days to put together. Mostly because I did it by myself with a little help from my 10 year old son, and also the instructions showed that I needed a screwdriver, which I used until the last part. I should have used an power tool with a screwdriver tip. Because it was so so difficult to screw the screws in by hand holy cow. If i would have used a power drill at the beginning, I would have finished in half the time! Because when screwing in any of the pieces, there are not pre drilled holes. There is a tiny dot to show where to screw it in. So if you don’t have a power drill with a screwdriver tip, it takes a lot of muscle and it’s hard to keep the screw straight sometimes. Also, in a couple different steps you have to put in certain pieces and it gives you a measurement, but doesn’t specify what kind of measurement it is.. I had to skip a step and wait until the end because I had no idea what correct measurement it was asking. It was a part for the drawers. The instructions are literally only pictures.. and very little words at the top of each step, well most steps. All the pieces have a sticker on them so you know exactly which ones you need to put together with what. The hardest part for me was having to put the top bunk on the bottom. Since i only had my son helping me I had to actually put them both on their sides and screw the top bunk legs to the bottom and then push them both upright. Even with a second person, it will be very hard to put the top on the bottom, just be careful when you do, because the dowels you put in the holes can break. And they don’t give you any extra. Other than that, it is a very sturdy bed! The color is very beautiful and my kids love it! I gave it 4 stars because of the instructions not being 100% clear. I wish they would have given actual measurements instead of putting numbers and making me have to it figure out. ... show more

Got this bed from my five-year-old and one-year-old who is transitioning from the crib. This was perfect. My five year old is on the top, but it’s not so high that I’m worried and the gate works perfect for my one year old. This worked better than trying to get a toddler bed and then bed, I was able to transition her so easily with this plus with the slide it gives hrs of fun ... show more

    • Overall view, in my opinion of the full of a full bunk bed set.
First of all, when I start off. I did like the fact that it's very heavy. Very solid and the stairs are very solid. So it's a safety thing? But what I didn't like is. I did not like the fact that the instructions weren't really clear on things. And then I was missing a bolt for the bed and I was awesome missing the fact that. The woods underneath the platforms for the mattress is layon were not painted Gray. They were just wood so I believe they shouldve been painted Gray to match the bed. Everything else was Gray, so we're not paying that too. Because it looks horrible underneath. So anyways, the other thing I did not like. Is the drawer pieces that would pieces that you put to lock? The doors from pulling out Hatton to pull all the way out does not fit properly. So had to emphasize and have to go put something else there for the drawer, not come all the way out. And I didn't like how the stairs did not have any kind of slippers knowing how slippery they are. But overall, the bed is very good bed. But that's just the only view corpse I did not like. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised with this bunk bed. Bought it for my granddaughters ages 4 and 6. It did take me 10 hours to put together but well worth the extra time. Each piece was wrapped in foam. All pieces were there in all 3 boxes. Directions were fairly good and each piece was numbered. Only improvement I would suggest is to better number the hardware. It was numbered with tiny paper squares which were hard to keep up with. Overall, a good product. ... show more

Instructions were a little hazy, however, I found ways to maneuver around it. The steps were the hardest part of it all but it was worth it at the end.

    • Beautiful bed but not perfect
It’s easy to assemble once you get a hold of the manual. (I will add the link for the e-manual). The bed is very pretty but, the slats are not the best, it doesn’t fit properly to hold well. I had to buy extra tools to make it stay in place, putting the drawers in place was so hard as well.
