It arrived in two heavy boxes, on different days. Be patient. It took two hours just to unpack and organize all of the parts. Very well packaged and organized and all of the parts were there. Even extra hardware! You’ll want a drill with “allen wrench bits”. Take your time and believe them when the directions tell you to measure the diagonal!! It must be square. We anchored it to the wall with lag bolts into the studs as well as the ones provided. It’s kind of cheaply made, but we knew it would be. It looks nice in the guest room, and now I have room to paint!

Nice looking Murphy bed. It works well and hydraulic makes it easy to use. The assembly is a challenge, definitely takes 2 ppl. It came in 2 heavy boxes and was packaged well so nothing was damaged or broken. Instructions and materials were labeled and easy to follow. The only complaint is the lights have USB’s to connect to power and no plug in for the USB’s. I don’t know what voltage is correct for it, paperwork has absolutely nothing on it other than installing the led strips. So currently is just some wires hanging with no lights, would be good for seller to include this info on future purchases. I’ll eventually figure out what is needed to be able to use the lights or put in my own, but the bed and mechanism is a great buy, easy to use and would recommend it.

Very happy with my purchase. Took my husband and me a total of 8 hrs. to prep, build and install. We took several breaks since we are in our mid sixties. 🤪 The only reason we gave it a four is because we wish the instructions would have been clearer. But with the help of the video on Amazon ( on the purchase itself) we were able to get it done. It does require 2 individuals at certain steps. But we love it because now we can keep our Music room in tact and convert it into a guest room at any given time with little to no effort. We were also able to put a 12 inch mattress on it with no issues. It is sturdy and the hydraulics on it makes it very easy to pull down and lift back up. Wish we would have purchase this years ago.

I set aside two hours to assemble this bed myself. Two days later and help from the wife we have an amazing Murphey bed! . I did step by step watching the video. From the first step I messed it up. Wife came in figured it out and took over the job using the instruction book. Wife put all parts in individual paper cups and labeled cups. That was the best move ever.

The media could not be loaded. I’m giving this three stars because it looks cute, and the material feels decent. However, the assembly process was a huge challenge. It took me around five days, working 1–2 hours per day, and I mostly did it alone. While the instructions were clear, there were so many pieces that it felt overwhelming. On the plus side, they provide extra screws and materials, which is helpful in case anything gets damaged. Now, let’s talk about the real issues: 1. Screw A is dangerous! Once fully tightened, it violently stops, causing the drill to bounce back dangerously—I actually hit my skull. That was not fun. 🤦🏽♀️ 2. Some of the white wood pieces had noticeable flaws, and it looks like they were patched up with mismatched white paint. You can’t really see it from far away, but up close, it’s disappointing—especially given the price. 3. After all the hard work, sweat, and literal pain, I discovered that the door doesn’t latch properly! Now I have to buy extra latches just to make sure the Murphy bed actually stays closed when not in use. I originally chose this Murphy bed because, compared to others, it was relatively “cheap”—but at $700–$800, I still expected better quality and proper functionality. Also, after purchasing, I received a message from the manufacturer stating that the mattress weight limit is only 50 pounds. My mattress is slightly over that, but finding a comfortable one under 50 pounds is nearly impossible. If I had known this beforehand, I might have reconsidered my purchase. Final Verdict: It’s cute but frustrating. If you’re willing to put in the effort and buy extra hardware, it might work for you. But for the price, I expected fewer headaches—literally and figuratively.

First off. I'm very happy with the purchase. It came in 2 separate boxes and both were decently heavy. You do need 2 people for this but i was able to do it by myself since I'm pretty handy with putting stuff together. I would say get some help near the end of the build because that's where you need it the most. The instructions were very clear. There were a little things here and there that took me a second to understand but it was nothing major. If the instructions tell you to not tighten those bolts, do not tighten those bolts. It will bite you later on in the build. All of the parts and screws were labeled by alphabetical order and 1-36. They also included a lot of spare screws. Every bag of screws had 1 or 2 extra depending on which bag it was. The build quality was pretty good as well. The wood had some small dings in the corner but it was nothing I couldn't simply paint over. The raising and lowering the bed is pretty smooth as well. The frame comes with straps to hold the bed from hitting the wall and stoppers at the top of the bed. I would advice that you potentially remove your molding from the wall. You definitely want to anchor it to the wall. The fram actually comes with curved boards that would go on the back to eliminate you removing the molding, but it wasn't big enough for me so I had to remove it. Either way it was pretty easy to do so. It took me roughly 5-6 hours to put this together solo. With someone else it could be a lot faster as well. Overall, 5 stars. Very solid product.
