It wasn’t fully expanded in the pictures. But even my husband gave me compliments on choosing a good mattress! I was a bit skeptical to buy a mattress online, but I am so happy I did! Not only is it a pretty mattress but it is so comfortable. Not too soft, not too hard. The corners are softer than the rest of the mattress but you won’t be spending much time sleeping on the corners I don’t think. It had no odor even as a new mattress, but I will say be prepared cuz it is heavy! When I make the bed I am definitely working out my arms! So ensure you are either strong enough to handle making the bed on your own or have someone to help! Glad I bought it! Came the day it said it was going to come. I don't know what I expected with a mattress in a box but I was pleasantly surprised it's just like a regular mattress. There is a smell coming straight from the box but it's not pungent and it fades. The firmness is nice. It's sturdy and has a small dip when you lay down. It doesn't hurt my back or my hips and shoulders. It's pretty heavy, and it inflated has soon as I ripped open the plastic. We wanted to upgrade our mattress since we have a toddler who sleeps in bed with us. We use it directly on the floor with slats on the bottom to avoid locking in moisture. This definitely feels more on the firm side rather than medium firm, which we’re okay with. We’re combination sleepers but this mattress works for us. The edges does feel a little to flimsy/lacks support but it’s not really an issue for us. We slept on first night we got this delivered and it wasn’t too bad - expanded right away. Toddler slept really well & idk if it’s the mattress but he slept on his back all night which we love (he usually ends up twists and turning in bed trying to find his position) As for us, It’s just right, it’s firm but comfortable (we weigh 100-150lbs) The only issue we have with it is that it’s reaaaallly heavy! We’re at the second floor & needed to have 3 person to carry it since delivery person left it. So far so good! I’ll try to update my review after a month or two to see if it holds up. ... show more

Didn’t think an Amazon mattress could be comfortable lol there’s no smell , thickness is accurate, it was easy to unpack and i didn’t even wait the recommended time for it to fully expand because it expended super quick I slept on it that same day hahaha I did my research and chose this one ! My hip and back pain is gone! I was having pain I am a side sleeper and every day I woke with pain. I am on night 3 and the pain is 98% GONE! This is a very comfortable bed. The bed is heavy I suggest 2 people when opening it. It is easy to open and my bed was ready to sleep on that night although it did take another day to fully puff.
