I moved into a new apartment that is very old and has steep narrow stairs. I knew I did not want to have to carry a mattress up those stairs that was already fully open and ready to sleep on. I ordered this expanding mattress so that I could carry it upstairs compacted in the shipping box. I purchased a platform bed with a headboard. For this very low cost I was not expecting much. I prefer a firm mattress. I will honestly tell you this is the most comfortable mattress I have ever owned and I have paid the least for this that I have ever paid. I am beyond comfortable and used to wake up with horrible back pain on my old softer mattress. I have had this one for about 2 months and have always woken up feeling physically great and I am 53 years old so aches and pains are the usual. A very thick mattress and amazing quality and back and hip support. Works perfectly on my platform bed. So worth the money and I would have paid five times the price for this mattress.

I’m not one to leave reviews but I’m doing it so the next person don’t have to wonder and worry like I did I spent hours on Amazon going through reviews to find the best mattress on a budget and I have to say I’m not sorry one bit I bought this one it is so comfortable it it true to medium firm but comfortable I don’t like too stiff of beds but it nice this is the first time in so long I didn’t wake up sore I give it 5 stars it is definitely worth the money

We recently purchased a foam mattress and we hated it. Decided on this because it had coils and a pillow top. Opted for medium firm. It's not perfect, but far better than anything we had. Sitting on the edge of the bed is comfortable and supportive. It's certainly worth the money and I do think it will last us quite a while. Overall, I'm happy. My reason for giving it just 4 stars is that it's just a little too firm. Hoping it loosens up over time.

Give it a week before you make your decision. It comes compressed in a roll. I found it pretty entertaining to unroll. I left it on the living room floor for a about 24hrs to decompress. The first couple nights I was skeptical as it was very very firm, and I was initially disappointed. After about a week of sleeping on it it has soften to the point it has some cushion to it while providing good support. At the price point I 100% would recommend to friends or family. I am sleeping great and my partners back pain has improved.
