Very comfortable and medium firm. This replaced a memory foam only mattress and is a 10 in comparison to a 2. Pocketed coils are a must for good sleep. Now that coiled mattresses are as easy to ship as foam only cant see why anyone would go without coils.

I tend to sleep mostly on my back, but I will sometimes also toss and turn a bit before falling asleep and end up sleeping on my side or even on my stomach for awhile. This makes finding a mattress with just the right amount of support almost impossible as a mattress that's too soft makes back sleeping uncomfortable, but a mattress that's too hard makes side and stomach sleeping uncomfortable. This is that very rare mattress that seems to be able to handle all types of sleepers. I have been using this now for a few weeks, along with my wife, and both of us really like this mattress! Both she and I wake up every morning pain free, and it didn't matter what position we slept in the night before. On my old mattress, I always knew if I had fallen asleep on my side or stomach as I'd wake up with bad neck or back pain. Not so on this mattress. I've now woken in all manner of positions and have no pain in the morning. This has also been the case with my wife who is usually a side sleeper. Before this mattress, my wife and I had been talking about the idea of us having to go to two twin beds as I preferred a firmer mattress due to my back sleeping position, and my wife likes a softer mattress due to her preference of side sleeping. We are no longer talking about doing that with this mattress. This mattress does feel a bit firmer than our old Zinus mattress at first, but after settling in for a few minutes you realize that it's not too firm and offers more support in the areas you need such as your back. I've slept on a lot of different mattresses over the course of my 53 years and I can honestly say this one is the closest mattress to perfection for all types of sleepers I've seen. Unless you like a very soft mattress, this one should work for you. Honestly even if you do like a very soft mattress like my wife does, don't be afraid to give this one a try as it tends to conform to you. We ordered the 14 inch mattress, as the ad stated it had 30% denser coils around the perimeter that offers better roll off support. If there is any complaint I have about this mattress, it's that I think the roll off support could still be better. Our previous mattress, a Zinus brand, had more roll off support. That said, the reduction in roll off support is something I can live with as the overall comfort level of the mattress is most important and this one excels at that. The 14" mattress is a very large mattress! Our sheets still had no problem fitting it, but they are tighter than they were on our old mattress, which was a 12" so that makes sense. This is also a heavy mattress compared to other "ship in a box" style mattresses I've gotten through Amazon or elsewhere online. Make sure you have help to get this into position when it comes in. We opened ours up and left in the garage for a couple of nights to both open up all the way and air out before we slept on it. There was hardly any off gassing or other smells with this mattress though, so that really wasn't an issue. Overall I think at the current price of $329.99 that this King sized 14" mattress is currently going for on Amazon, this mattress is a great bargain. The only thing I can't tell you though is how long it will last for. Even if we get just 5 years out of this it's worth it to me, and I intend to buy another one just like this when the time comes.

This is the 7th bed in a box that I have tried, and I am blown away by the difference between this one and all of the others. I am a plus sized woman and have been using bed-in-box mattresses for about 12 years. The first one I got was pretty good, but it was only available in twin size. The next 4 were twin xl mattresses. All of them were big name brands ranging from $200 to $800. Two of those were foam and 2 were hybrid. All of them professed to be medium firm. All 4 of those mattresses caused me tremendous hip and sciatic nerve pain. I was not able to sleep on my stomach or even my side on any of these beds. I was starting to think that I was going to have to go back to a traditional mattress. I finally found the perfect mattress. This Cornoyu 14-inch Medium Firm Hybrid Mattress in a box with gel memory foam is actually everything it promises to be and everything that I have been looking for, for the past several years. First of all, the edge support. It has real edge support. I have this bed really high off the ground; I have to jump up to get on it. Yet, I can sit on the edge and dangle my legs off without sliding off. You can sleep right up on the edge of this bed if that is your thing. This mattress has the perfect amount of support. I can lay on my side without hip pain. It has just enough give to allow your spine to align without the hips sinking down too far. The past few nights sleeping on the mattress were the first in years that I fell right asleep without having to take pain medication or massage my hips. I have slept all night without waking up in pain. These coils must be really dense because I feel nothing when my Weimaraner is moving around in the night. The bed does not bounce or rock when she switches her position. The only thing I did not like was the tufting, I could feel it on my hips. This was only a small problem. I just laid a thin quilted blanket over the mattress top and then put the fitted sheet over that. It is perfection. I feel so lucky to have found the perfect mattress. It is amazing. I recommend it for anyone who needs a firm mattress or who is plus sized. I almost forgot the mention that I had always slept on my stomach as a child, I have really missed being able to do that. On soft mattresses it is impossible for me to lay on my stomach at all. With this mattress I am able to sleep on my stomach for the first time in a decade, however I realize that is going to give me wrinkles on my face, so I will not be doing that a lot. I am so happy with this mattress, and I am amazed at the price. I have paid twice as much for mattresses that are half the size. This is an amazing value at the current price. I highly recommend this mattress.
