Easy to assemble, you will need 2 people though. I've used it for about a month now, nothing seems like it's bending, I'm a 250 pound adult and I have a heavy full size memory foam matress on it. The ladder is almost impossible to climb while bare foot, highly suggest you put some pool noodles as padding or get a diffrent ladder. The desk underneath is alright, will hold some weight, but probably not more than 50 pounds, feels kind of flimy and might break if you put any more weight than that. ... show more

    • Basic but does the job
We got this loft bed for our 10 year old son so that he could maximize his space to have room for a desk. The bed was pretty easy to put together, there were some connections that we needed to drill holes for because it was manufactured with a hole (to be expected with a cheap frame) the ladder is the only problem, if we could go back we would have bought one with a step ladder or stairs because the skinny post hurts your feet. ... show more

Technically, it Is a loft bed and had all the parts. Construction was not super easy with one person, but manageable. However, the entire thing is EXTREMELY unstable and wobbly, especially when climbing the ladder. I had to improvise some clamps for the frame and mount to the baseboard amd studs in the wall. Also, the rungs of the ladder have a very small diameter, and my 6 year old complained of how uncomfortable it is to climb up and down. I would spend another $100 and get something a LOT more well-built. ... show more

Love this loft bed! We bought 2 of these loft beds for our daughter's who share a room and have friends stay over. We kept their existing twin bed to use as a lounge/sleep area. The twin bed fit perfect. The frame is very sturdy! My oldest daughter is around the 180 pound range and she has no issues with the bed frame moving around when she gets in it. The girls love how much space they have in the full size bed on top and having their own desk to do projects at. We used just a simple piece of plywood to help keep the mattress stable and to help even out the weight on both the loft beds as well. But all in all they love the new bed ! ... show more

Definitely look ahead in the instructions to ensure all the holes are going the right direction. This bed has a high weight capacity, plenty of height underneath, and plenty of desk price. It is a little shaky, but great bed for the price.
