This bed frame is great. Fairly easy to put together, easier with 2 people. It seems very light weight once put together but, it is durable and sturdy. Others have complained about their mattress sliding on it but, I did not experience that. It probably depends on the mattress and has nothing to do with the bed frame. The mattress I got is a foam mattress with a nice waterproof cover and it doesn't slide at all. Unfortunately, only half the lights worked (which we didn't realize until the frame was already assembled) and the only way they can take care of it is to send you a whole new frame, you take out the new lights, test them, then put the non working lights in the box and then they have a delivery service schedule a day and time to pick up the defective package at no cost to me. Seems like a lot but it really wasn't, and it's nice that I didn't have to haul the package somewhere for a return, the customer service was great and it was rectified. The lights have different modes of flashing and fading, fast or slow, or you can have it on just a constant, single color. I would definitely recommend this frame. My 5yr old granddaughter LOVES this bed! I didn't take any photos right after assembly because we were too excited to get everything in order for our granddaughter to see, she was on her way over and we were trying to surprise her. ... show more

I was skeptical that i would be able to put this together by myself… but i did! Everything needed was inside the box. It probably took me longer than it would someone else, but i enjoyed the challenge… it was easy to understand the instructions. The parts were labeled with numbers and the screws with letters. The bed is sturdy and no noise. The headboard is not as high as I anticipated, but that varies depending on the mattress used of how much can see of it one made.
