It was the full ten inches and fit my bed perfectly. I honestly think it could be more firm. The mattress I had before this was a true firm mattress and this one I would say is semi firm. It has a little more sinkage than I prefer but still have zero back pain. However, it still is just so comfortable. It feels like a cloud but also firm at the same time? It’s also very light weight and has zero odor. We've slept on the mattress four nights now, as so far it has been as expected. It is firm with some cushion to help conform to your body. My wife and I are mainly side sleepers, so the support has been great and it's not too bad for back sleepers, maybe a bit too firm for that. But everyone is different and prefer different firmness, so what is good for one may not be for another.
