Overall I am enjoying this custom fit cockpit cover. Pros: Designed properly. Reflective band. Wind proof. Rain Proof. Snug fit. Cons: hhmm?? Would I order this again? Yes. Order for a friend or family? As soon as they order a Slingshot. This may not be the best value out there. However, it will not disappoint. I tend to order similar items more than once until I find what suits my needs. I first ordered a full sized cover, which works great for longer term storage say during the week while at work or over a weekend. This cockpit cover is my go to when commuting or taking a tour. The full size is more time consuming to toss on and is larger to stow away. I would rather leave the full size cover at home. This cockpit cover allows me space to stow away and saves time to toss on. Tie downs are positioned nicely. The rubber coated hooks are a great touch. I am able to throw over and place by myself without a worry about paint damage. This are essential for wind proofing. The mirror holes help as if tie downs. I could do with just pockets and that would help to protect the mirrors as well if I were concerned about protecting them. The stitch work is solid and seams are designed to be waterproof. Inspecting the distances from the edges of the fabric to the stitching on the seams there is consistency at proper distance from the edges. When sewing to close to the edges stitches will tear through and these should not have that problem. Again, I am pleased with this order.

It’s been snowing in New York recently, so I’m putting this product to the test. I bought a product from another company before, but it was not waterproof and it tore after a month of use. The material of this product is very thick and the inner layer is smooth and will not scratch the paint. There are several buckles on the bottom and it is firmly fixed. There are two long reflective strips that are easy to see at night. Currently in good use.
