This is a cute watch that we recently purchased for our 10 year old to help her keep track of time. She is not spoiled by electronics, does not have her own phone or iPad and obviously no Apple Watch. She loves this thing despite it being overall quite primitive. I think this watch runs a bit large for the intended age group as you can see from my photos, but again it is my daughter's first watch and she is very happy with it regardless. I love the cute and innocent design and appreciate that the watch is chargeable. I would have preferred that the face displayed time continuously or self activated upon relevant wrist motion but it does not. I feel that clicking a button to see what time it is requires a certain amount of time awareness and concern which is the very thing my daughter is lacking and I am looking for her to develop using this watch. It is still helpful though. When she gets a one our allowance to go to park by our house she sets an alarm on her watch and gets back home promptly which is the ultimate goal. Hopefully awareness of time will develop eventually as well. Aside from telling time and setting an alarm the only other function that matters to us is telling the date. All else such as step tracking, calories and distance are irrelevant for a kid and cannot honestly that if they are accurate at all. I would have gladly sacrifices all these functions for just the ability to see the time displayed continuously. ... show more

I ordered this watch for my son because I wanted something where he would be able to track his steps. The watch is of excellent quality and I'm very happy. It is sleek and modern looking. The watch is much better in person than it is in the pictures. It fit my son perfectly and I think it's great for anyone from the 8 to thirteen/fourteen year range. The only downside is that the watch worked for a few days and then run out of battery so I have to look into whether it needs battery change or if it is rechargeable other than the watch is quite sleek and I am very happy with it. My son loves it and words that are done opportunity he can get. I really like that. The watch is quite user-friendly. So he does not have any issues using it. ... show more

Very simple product. No linking with phone, but also no distractions for kids. Just tapping the A button will quickly flash the time and date and hide again. Tapping the A again will swap between steps, distance, calories, alarm 1 and 2. Buttons A and B are mostly up and down buttons in selection modes. You can enter different settings by pressing A or B buttons for 3s. The 3s is basically save and continue. For example, between setting hour, minute, AM/PM, press B for 3s to continue each time after adjusting. The vibration is ok, but not exceptional for waking up deep sleepers, at most for alerting tasks or setting quick timer. Do note, seems like the screen attracts smudges, so you may need to use a lens cleaning cloth sometimes. ... show more

My daughter wanted one like mine. She doesn't need it but it sure helps her to see the time and she likes seeing all her steps. She does Girls on the Run and will be doing a 5k next month. This was easy to figure out with the buttons, long holds vs short pushes and setting date, time, etc. She's 10 and is on the tiny side, so it's not fitting on the smallest setting, but she can still wear it a bit loose. ... show more

My girl loves her new watch. She doesn't know better so that's a win. She's happy, I'm happy. The digital numbers look out of focus/blurred; they are not sharp. But it's readable. The watch shows the clock and then switches to the date with the press of a button. You can also toggle between time, date, steps, calories, a stopwatch, and two alarms. My girl has small wrists and so the band is tightened down to the smallest setting. Even then, it can pull up to her mid-forearm. But, the watch is stiff enough that it doesn't rotate on her wrist either. ... show more

Very easy to set up/figure out all the buttons. My 7 year old did it all by himself. That’s a big win. Also, I love that this does not need an app or anything like that to run, just simple functionality. It’s a good size for little arms, and the colors options are fun. Holds its charge very well! This is a good idea for a kids smartwatch. I like that it doesn't need a phone app because my little girl doesn't have her own smartphone at the moment, I've been annoyed that most smartwatches even for kids require this and was hoping to find one that operates independently. BUT, my daughter found this difficult to use, the buttons weren't intuitive and require memorizing things like press-and-hold for different functions. Not only that but she found it very wide for her wrist. The USB ends that stick out, while a cool feature (because you don't need to have a special charger that will inevitably get lost), actually make the watch part too wide for small arms. Considering this is marketed for kids, that's an issue for comfort and aesthetics. I'm including a picture of it on my 13 year old daughter's wrist, so it's not like she's just a baby with tiny wrists. She found it uncomfortable and big feeling. It does work, but at the end of the day she'd rather one of the other style smartwatches that aren't made for kids because they are easier to use and fit her better. This is a great proof of concept but it could be better. Hopefully better versions will come out. ... show more
