  • Good starter night vision binoculars
The Eamin Full Color Digital Night Vision Goggle is a handheld device that can be used to see images in the dark as well as the day and take pictures or video. The images and videos are copied to an onboard memory stick that can be easily removed from the device and inserted into a computer or laptop to be transferred. The device includes a USB-C charging cable, a removable double strap to carry around the neck, a fabric bag to carry or store the unit in and a 32GB micro memory card which could be upgraded to a larger size if needed. Initially, it was a bit cumbersome trying to learn how to use this device. They look like binoculars, but you look into the screen side of the device rather than the 2 eye ports, as they appear to be. These are the adjustments for the IR light and the Physical focusing of the lens as you zoom in and out by turning them left and right. After using the device for a bit, it became much easier. Within the menu itself, there are 10 different options to choose from such as image size, audio and circular recording to name a few. You navigate to the option you want and hit the OK button to enter that menu. Selecting back will bring you back out of any menu option and to the main menu and eventually to the main screen itself. The distance it can go, 1968ft, is impressive and the image with daylight is very impressive but at its longest distance, can be a little grainy. The image at night though is not what you see on the movies with snipers having a nice and clear green image of their prey. The image is good but again, if you go the max distance, can be a little grainy. I found that while using the device, image displayed on the screen would be a little shaky because of my hands while holding it. I did not see a built-in stabilizer option so I mount the device to a Tripod as it includes the threaded screw hole that can fit many types of tripods. Overall, I like this device and will plan to take it on vacation, with my desktop tripod, to take distance pictures that my phone cannot handle. I would like to have reported how an image of the moon would have looked like but where I am located, this time of the year does not offer many clear nights and opportunities to view the moon. ... show more

  • The directional controls need to be more intuitive but this is still overall a very nice unit...
The media could not be loaded. The directional controls need to be more intuitive but this is still overall a very nice unit... The buttons are not placed in an intuitive positions/s. The battery is a non-standard size. You can't place your face all the way up to the unit you have too look at it from a few inches away. If you remove the battery you will have to reset all of the settings including date and time. the strap is overall very nice but I wish it was more heavy duty but it is still overall very nice. the starting to record photos and video buttons are not really that logical or logically placed, etc. In some ways it works very good and I am not saying I I wouldn't recommend it I am just saying that there is definitely some room for improvements. It is not image stabilized so if you shake the photo and especially the video will shake. You can set the night vision illuminator to different power settings and you only need to set it to # 1 for most of what you will use it for and this saves battery power as using a higher illuminator setting increases the brightness but usually this is not needed and it drains the battery quicker the brighter you turn up the illuminator. I wish there was away to store the Usb cable inside the unit so I didn't have to keep it separate of the united worry about losing it. The unit comes with a nice soft bag for storage butI wish it had a good hard case with a strap. Again the unit works overall good it is just that there are a few things that need to be improved. If just being able to see at night is what you are after and being able to take simple and not high resolution photos and videos is what you are after this is a nice little unit. The video is 1080p and the photo resolution can be set to a few different resolutions in the main menu. It looks and feels cool in the hand. I wish I could place it closer to or on my face and I wish the was more of a soft nose guard when viewing. Good day & God bless... Randall M. Rueff K9RMR ... show more

  • Amazing
First off this is amazing and not to heavy. Super easy to use and adjust and the battery life is pretty good. Night vision is really nice just wished it would zoom out better. Does great for me at 100-150 yards.

  • good night vision ruined by poor operation function
Come with everything you need to get started. It included a charging cable, instructions, a battery, a sling, a carry bag, a micro SD card, and instructions. The battery was already in it and was fully charged. The camera is very sensitive to light, and you do not need to use IR light on a cloudy full moon. You can adjust both the focusing and IR light by rotating the front parts of the binocular. The camera is a little low-quality, and once you zoom in over six power, it becomes so grainy you cannot tell what you're looking at. What ruins this night vision binocular is its bad operating system. It is so confusing and delayed that changing the IR setting is a hassle. The directions did not help at all. I played around with this device for about 30 minutes, and you have to push both the menu and IR buttons simultaneously to change the IR light strength or camera mode. This is far easier said than done. Thair is a large 1 to 2-second delay between each setting, and even when you push them simultaneously, they do not always change the mode. If you do not push both the menu button and the IR button simultaneously, it will increase the zoom power because the IR and Zoom are the same button. This leads to so much insistence it becomes irritating to operate. I also noticed that it would turn off after about two minutes if no buttons were pushed. I give this one star for its bad operating system and four stars for its night vision camera. The bad operating system is a deal breaker to me. ... show more
