What can you say on fuji lenses except they are the best as far as I am concerned. Very sharp images, great bokeh. I couldn't even tell this lens was refurbished, looks and works like a new lens. The only drawback was it does not come with a lens hood, it has the lens covers but no hood, but it was still less expensive than a new one after purchasing a lens hood.     • dead on arrival and wrong color
Thought I would give renewed a try, but it did not work out. Not only did I receive the wrong color, the lens did not work. Returned same day and just purchased new locally. After this experience, I will not be purchasing renewed again.

    • Great saving on a nice light but razor sharp Fuji lens.
This lens is great and razor sharp wide open but also lovely bokeh. Some people complain that the close focus isn’t close enough but I find it to be fine and much closer than the 35mm summicron I was using before I purchased this lens. My reason of only 4 stars was because the plastic lens hood is missing from the box I bought another after market hood to replace it.     • My go-to lens now
This is now the lens I have mounted by default on my X-H1 to be ready for anything, switching to wide-angle or telephoto lenses when this "standard" field of view does not suffice. It's compact, has beautiful image quality, and I love the aperture ring. The increased size and cost of the f1.4 lens isn't worth it to me, as I seldom need that extra bit of low-light performance, and completely blurring out the background is not my thing. ... show more

I recently bought a Fuji X-T2 and have gone about getting a few lenses for it. As I love my 35mm on my Pentax K-3ii, I thought that this might be a good "walk-around" lens for the Fuji. Yesterday, I decided to take it out when I was investigating the high water after the storms, and took a shot of a footbridge that, under normal circumstances, spans the river. As you might notice from the first picture, it falls a bit short at the moment! Anyway, when I got home at took a look at it, I saw that there were people on the bridge. As this was the first time that I'd had this lens out in the wild, I decided to zoom-in and see how well it did. I was startled at how clear these people - who were NOT my intended subject and not on my plane of focus - were captured in the shot! I was even more impressed when I looked a bit lower and saw yet another individual standing at the water's edge beneath them! This was a definite "WOW!" moment for me! For those interested in such things, the settings were: ISO 800, f/5.6, 1/5400 sec. This was basically a snapshot - just walking around, snapping pics - real casual stuff. I am just flabbergasted that it performed so well!!! I am looking forward to what it can do when I actually TRY to take a good picture! Do yourself a favor - buy this lens. If you don't have a Fuji camera, buy one so that you can use this lens!!! ... show more

This is not so much a review, is mostly the condition and price of this renewed lens. The lens looks like new and the condition is excellent. The $80 dollars saving was wlll worth it. I havent test this lens in low light condition but in daylight this lens is excellent, picture quality is superb a little slow on the autofocus, but it maybe my camera settings. I just got into the Fuji system and in my opinion this is a good all around lens at an affordable price. ... show more
