These have been amazing! They have caught so many gnats near one of my plants that has caused some issues. They are extremely sticky, to the point where it is hard to get them off your fingers easily, but that’s good. The gnats seem to have been drawn to one of the traps more than the other on the same stick, so I left the one with fewer flies on and replaced the other. It was easy to remove and put back into the soil. It seriously has worked so well. I like that they aren’t in the shape of a butterfly or something else like so many of these traps are.

By far one of the best products I've bought this year. I have a lot of houseplants and had fungus gnats. These fruit fly traps work so well. The adult gnats are attracted to the bright yellow color and stick to the trap, they are very effective at trapping the adult gnats, moths, flys and other flying insects. The package contains both sun and butterfly shaped traps made of a quality thin plastic sheeting. The bottom of the trap is shaped like an arrowhead and easily sticks into the potting soil. There are 100 traps in the box and they are bundled neatly by an easy to remove rubber band. The traps are the perfect size for large or small plants. I highly recommend this product. I feel it's also a great value for the price.

These have helped immensely in ridding my houseplants of pesky gnats. They’re only about 2”-3”, so they fit great in most planters, making them versatile and easy to use. The bugs flock to them immediately, I caught more than I was expecting within the first 10 minutes of placing them in my plants. They’re safe and easy to use, just remove the film on each side and place them in the soil or around the plants. The little triangle base helps secure them into the soil.

I bought these to deal with a fungus gnat infestation in my classroom plant collection that resulted from someone inadvertently overwatering my emerald pothos while I was on vacation. I think I’ll still have to repot the pothos and hose off the roots, but the traps are certainly knocking down the bug population in the meantime. I like the design; the traps can be inserted into the soil just like an identification tag, so they’re a safe, fairly unobtrusive, easy-to-use means of reducing a pest population. I’ve caught literally hundreds of gnats in less than a week.

These gnat traps are ok. They definitely attract gnats and help with the problem. I like that the sticks are reusable so you only have to replace the stickies. I also like how easy they are to place into, and remove from, the plants. There are quite a few sticks and even more stickies. The biggest problem I had is when you fold the yellow stickies in half, to place into the slots on the stick, they sometimes will pop out. So although they are effective, they are not always stable enough. This is an economical and safe way to treat a gnat problem.

Love, love these traps. But invention ever. Anyone who has houseplants and occasionaly get gnats that love to live in your plants these are a must. The sticky part is perfect and the color does attract the bug. Plus the design, especially the pointed bottom makes it very easy to insert into the soil. I pitched a decorative box to put these in to keep them from getting to dusty when not in use. I have purchased these for over five years now.

IF the paper actually removed from the sticky and wasn't adhered to the sticky AND then shreds like tissue paper this would absolutely gotten 5 stars. The sticky is great. The shape is cute. Its not ridiculously small like most fly strips. Its a good solid paper that holds well in the dirt. Its not flimsy and the dirt staken is wide. Everything about these are perfect except the amount of sticky i got on me trying to peal them. The paper does NOT come off. Its smaller than the trap so the sides are also sticky prior to pealing the first side is doable because the paper is still on the back. You peal these in smaller than pinky nail strips so you have a thousand pieces of paper before you've pealed the entire thing. You can see the yellow extending past the yellow which is the sticky part. Which makes pealing the second side impossible. The triangle dirt part is "coated" so the dirt and watering of plants doesn't dissolve it. Iv never had any issues with any of these not "attracting" flies so i guess the yellow attracts flies well. It will also stick to you, moths, mosquitoes and anything or anyone else that get close enough. The size However is specifically for fruit/fungus flies. It would fill up very fast if you used it for anything larger. The sticky is fabulous. Im un decided if id buy them again as its a pain to peal maybe I got an old item and the paper soaked the sticky i dont know.
