Good shed after a long assembly

Although the directions said it was a two person install,I had no trouble assembling the shed by myself. I don't think performing the task myself slowed the process much, but the assembly is quite long. The instructions are pictures only which requires you to scrutinize the photos carefully to make sure the parts are not backwards during the install. The parts are clearly identified but no indication of front or back is provided. During the assembly,the instructions call for some parts to be glued, but the glue is not included. Once assembled the shed is pretty stable and directions are provided to help you level the shed which is important for proper door operation.

It works

It works for what we need it, it’s bit flimsy, took a while to put together. But that was to expected. There is a very very thin woody looking board that’s supposedly to put on the bottom. It was broken and wouldn’t do any good, useless. So we throw it out. Some parts had some dents, but we got it to work and we could hide them. You can put a lock on it too. For this price you can’t bitch to much about it. And the look is not so bad. There were some small holes where they shouldn’t be. It came in two boxes as mentioned. The packaging could be better especially the corners so it wouldnt get dents. But all in all it’s not bad, the material and colors are not bad at all.

Like a Metal Shed - only with Plastic Panels

As another reviewer said, tons and tons of screws. I am familiar with Rubbermaid and Keter sheds that require few screws and assemble much faster. My biggest problem with this shed is that it is not as it is shown in the photos. The Sides and Roof and even the doors are made from two panels that need to be screwed together. I presume that is to make the shipping box narrower, but it adds work and may be prone to leakage or warping. Back to the assembly - all those screws are bound to rust at some point, not really what you expect from a plastic shed. There is no latch on the door. You must use a lock or some other external means to keep the right side door from flapping open. This shed includes a floor, but not the pegboard shown in the photo. They included gloves for handling the metal parts, and the included rubber mallet to aid assembly was a pleasant surprise. There is a support line that you can call if you have issues, but I did not try it. The parts were neatly labeled and there were a few extra screws included. It went together fairly easily. I assembled in my garage, so I was working on a flat, level surface and no wind. The roof attachment is a bit wonky - doesn't fit together cleanly, has gaps, because it is installed at an angle. The instructions were fairly clear and mostly easy to follow. There are a lot of screws to hold the panels together and the screw locations are not marked. You just guess about where they go based on the drawing. Some of the illustrations did not match the parts and caused minor confusion, mostly around the door frame. Also, the instructions call for screws on the inside of the top of the door frame, but there is nothing there to screw into. You could substitute longer screws and drill through the metal frame, but then the screw will protrude into the door. I couldn't figure that part out at all. Overall, it seems like a sturdy shed. It is decent looking in the yard. I hope that it lasts after all the work to assemble it.

Great Value and thorough instructions

I’ve built an 8x10 metal shed many years ago, so I knew going into this to do a few things to make this easier. The instructions say this is an all day build and 2 people are needed. I was able to do this in 5 hours alone …. It was a PITA, but I expected that when I bought this shed. I read a few complaints and it appears most are from people that underestimated this build. Here are a few tips to help make your experience better: 1) This comes in 2 boxes and lots of items…sort them before beginning to make your built flow easier. 2) USE A DRILL TO SCREW THE MASSIVE AMOUNT OF SCREWS IN THE BUILD. This should be common sense, but I saw one person saying they were tired from screwing in the screws and at 6hours half way through their build. 3) Build it on a flat surface like your garage, or your driveway/patio. I dropped lots of the screws and was easy to locate them since I was not in the yard. You can also use a tarp to help contain the screws. One of my gripes was the hinges screws did not have any extra ones and those were the tiniest screws. Definitely cannot afford to lose any of those. All in all, I am very happy with this buy. I just need to adjust the doors to get them a little more square. It is plastic/resin and not as expensive as some other brands, so it won’t be perfect. However, it looks nice and is solid enough to hold our lawn equipment and free up the garage of a lot of stuff we use often. I would recommend this but again, it is not a fun build! 😀

is as described BUT!!!! a MILLION screws and takes two days to assemble.
Prepare yourself for a couple of days of assembly, or TWO all day long, nothing but this. Its not that its hard, it that there are a MILLION screws! Came out as described, but I would have rather paid to get this pre-assembled than to spend ALL OF THAT TIME turning screws! So, be prepared. It looks good, but man!, did I mention..... A MILLION SCREWS!!! I am extremely mechanically inclined, but this felt like it took forever!

Very disappointed

I cannot express my disappointment enough on this product. Upon receiving the shipment, we transported it to the destination it would be used at. As I opened it and inventory the parts, there were two items of one piece number 28 and there were supposed to be one and a second piece was number 20. The 20 piece was missing and was essential in putting the base together. As a result, I had to make the piece that was missing as best as I could. We could not return it or wait for another part due to the time constraint we have. As we had to improvise, it made squaring the unit up extremely difficult. The way it fits together leaves a lot to be desired. It’s not as sturdy as we had hoped, nor the quality that we expected. The instructions were rather vague. There were less than desirable diagrams on some of the assembly parts. No written explanation as to how the parts went together. I would never consider by Miss product again and I’m disappointed as to the overall quality and durability.

Hard to figure out directions

Sturdy storage

I put this shed together for storing garden tools, and it has worked well for keeping everything organized. The resin panels feel solid, and the included floor helps keep items off the ground. I like the sloped roof since it helps prevent water from collecting after it rains. The instructions were easy to follow, and the installation video was a helpful reference during assembly.
