We are very happy with this bike. We wanted to give my son an intro to Motocross, but didn't want to drop thousands on a bike in case he didn't like it. We grabbed this because of the warranty and parts support from FRP. I had to adjust the chain a bit at first because it comes loose and I didn't realize it. it was a piece of cake. The gearbox shaft broke after a couple weeks of hard use and the company sent me another one with just proof of purchase. I might buy myself one of their mini bikes to go have fun with my kid! The bike itself is well built and goes fast enough for kids. The panels are good quality and the suspension is decent too. A gallon of gas last us 4 or 5 weeks with regular riding. My son is super happy with it. Thank you FRP!

Perfect size for my 11-year-old boy. Assembly was straightforward and simple, short and sweet, but be sure to use the YouTube instructional video, not the confusing manual that's included. It's a bit difficult for my son to start the motor, so a parent has had to help (pull-start, like a mower), but he can almost get it; gives him a reason to exercise his muscles :) High-quality product, as described. Excellent value. We used 5w30 oil and non-ethanol gas, no issues. I read that 10w30 is also fine. It's VERY gas efficient. Tank is less than a gallon, and he's ridden several times with no gas refill needed. We used another brand/protect for helmet/gloves/goggles, and we used his elbow and knee pads from his inline skates. He's very happy, and so are we parents and his siblings. Very fun experience!

Awesome pocket bike. Our 8 yr old loves to ride the motor bike all day if we let him. Easy to learn and just enough power from the 40 cc engine to make it fun. Great take off torque makes the bike feel strong.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I never leave reviews but I feel the need to warn others about this product. Unfortunately, we purchased two of these mini dirt bikes and both of them were broken within 2 days! The first dirt bike had a horrible sound from the time we started the engine. Sounded like the carburetor needed tuning but before we could troubleshoot the bike stopped running altogether. The second bike, my son who is 70 pounds rode it for about an hour. Within that time the chain fell off multiple times and then the bike stopped running similar to the first bike. A piece of the engine melted and it appears we need to order this part to replace it on the bike. However, the two bikes we ordered have different engines (although they are both FRP FX-Ogemaw Kids Dirt Bikes) so there is no guarantee the replacement part will fit this bike and we’re already about $1,000 in on these dirt bikes with less than 3 hours of total use on them combined. We followed all instructions carefully. There is no reason for these malfunctions other than poor quality. We contacted customer service with videos so they could hear the sound the bikes were making prior to breaking. They recommended turning the choke on/off which was not the issue and isn’t helpful as the bike is no longer running. Very, very disappointing for our son who saved up to pay for half of this dirtbike. Very poor quality and disappointing customer service. I would do a lot of research and choose a different company when purchasing a mini bike.
