Upon purchasing these brakes and rotors for my vehicle, I encountered a minor disappointment upon arrival! I received only one set of rotors and all four brakes in two separate boxes. When I took the brakes and rotor to the mechanic, he informed me that I only had one set of rotors, which caused me significant frustration. To prevent others from experiencing a similar situation, I would like to share an incident that occurred the very next day the rotors were delivered. Despite receiving a good deal and the desired product, I was disappointed to find that two rotors were missing. I decided to do a return label But waited until the next day to see if the missing rotors would arrive. Fortunately, they did, and I was able to get the work done on my car without any further complications. I must emphasize that if you do not receive your rotors on the same day of delivery and find that some are missing, it is advisable to wait until the next day to verify their arrival. I personally made a return label due to my dissatisfaction. But I was relieved when the missing rotors were delivered the following day. I was so happy.💯 Once he installed the brakes and rotors, I was pleasantly surprised by their performance. The brakes provide excellent stopping power, allowing me to stop on a dime without any squeaking or brake dust. My mechanic confirmed that the brakes are durable and have not caused any stopping issues. While I do not have photographs of the brakes and rotors, I can assure you that I highly recommend them. They offer a superior alternative to purchasing from local stores, which tend to be more expensive. I have compared prices at three different retailers, and this product consistently provided the best deal.👍 In conclusion, I strongly recommend these brakes and rotors for anyone in need of a complete set of four, both the front and rear of their vehicle. I purchased two brake kits from Max Brakes one in May 2018 and one in July 2018. The order in July was for my Chrysler Town and Country van, the mechanic I hired to install the kit charge me $30/wheel or $60/axle to do the four wheel brake job. The van has had about 9,000 miles put on since the kit was installed and while this rotor and set of pads is the worst they were all in very poor condition and were grinding away at the rotors. I contacted Amazon as I have had brakes done on my cars before and they typically last about 45,000-50,000 miles NOT 9,000 miles. Amazon had the seller, Max Brakes (MB) respond tome directly and MB asked for pics of the defective product. The pics above were sent to them. When they replied to my email with these pics they said this is not their problem and that the product isn't defective and went on to suggest that the brake calipers must be frozen or defective. I assured them that was not the case, the mechanic told me all four calipers on both of my cars were working just fine and there was no need to replace them. I ended up having both of my cars in for brake jobs (My other car is a Nissan Murano and it had a brake job with a Max Brakes kit in May 2018 and has had about 10,000 miles since then and while it was not this bake the brakes were grinding and the rotors were all scarred up.) So now in a little over a year I have had to re-purchase two 4-wheel brake kits (from a more reputable seller - Rock Auto) and pay $120 for each of my cars to have the brakes done again. The seller has told me that since it is over a year since the kits were purchased they could not do anything for me. I even mentioned to them I would be happy to just get my money back on the original purchase price for their kits and I would "eat" the labor for the second brake job on each car ($240) but they still refused and basically told me to pound sand. VERY discouraging, I am going to contact Amazon again to see if there is any further recourse. I totally understand that there is a 1 year warranty on a product but when the product fails and is just outside of the warranty period AND the product should last 4-5 years based on our annual mileage I would hope a seller would do the right thing, Max Brakes has not done that. ... show more
