This personally was my first ever boar brush and I was recommended by workers at Ulta to get this brush. Found the exact one here on Amazon (for $2 less) and I will never go back to a traditional brush again. I have had no pain when brushing my hair, no pulling. My hair length is about medium, but as a mom that is going through postpartum it’s hard for me to pamper my hair the way I use to. This brush is perfect size, gentle on my hair. I use it for my daughters hair as well. Highly recommend it for anyone to use for any hair length. The design of the brush with the paddle head and smooth silicone grip handle works perfectly where it’s not hard or uncomfortable to grasp. Also; not too big where you feel like you’re using a baseball to brush your scalp. The boar bristles combined with the other bristles work perfectly in combination to have your hair feel smooth, soft like silk and shiny. I highly recommend to everyone, but especially my fellow mom friends dealing with hair loss after pregnancy, or during. I absolutely love this brush because it works so well in combination with my hair product to get my wild hair in a position that makes me presentable to the world. The handle is the absolute perfect size and gives you surface area you need to get the perfectly comfortable grip. I think there are two underestimated benefits of this product: 1) It gives your scalp the most perfect massage 2) I actually bought a second one because it works so well on my Terrier mix. This is literally the best brush ever! I have always had a very sensitive head. In addition I have fine hair that tangles in 2 seconds. My head is so sensitive at the salon I have to brush out my hair mysef before styling because it hurts too much when other people do it. I tried this brush when at my stylists. I was expecting it to hurt just like every other brush and I knew that my hair had aquired a few bad tangles on the way.. Amazongly, this brush DID NOT HURT. Not only did it feel good it seemlessy got rid of the tangles! It cut through my hair like butter. I have tried all-boar hair brushes before but they don't get the tangles out and they still pulled my hair. Not this one! I could literally brush my hair all day. My hair with one pass looked healthier And shinier, then it had ever looked with my other brushes. So glad I found this. Finally, a brush that doesn't hurt!!! ... show more
