This is now one of my favorite cookbooks. It’s not only a well made beautiful hardcover book, the printed pages are clear and easy to read with really nice colorful photos throughout. The recipes are mainly soul food based , easy to follow, and delicious. Thumbs up on this Crook to Coo Cookbook.

I was really excited to get From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dog because I’ve heard great things about it, and the recipes themselves did not disappoint. That said, I was disappointed to see writing inside the book. I ordered it listed in great condition and wasn’t expecting it to be brand new, but I also didn’t expect to find notes already written in it. It didn’t affect my ability to use the recipes, but it was still a letdown since I prefer clean copies.
