Description

Joanna Gaines—cofounder of Magnolia, cook and host of Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines, and New York Times bestselling author—brings us her third cookbook filled with timeless and nostalgic recipes—now reimagined—for today’s home cook. Whether it’s in the making, the gathering, or the tasting of something truly delicious, this collection of recipes from Magnolia Table, Volume 3 is an invitation to savor every moment. In Joanna’s first cookbook, the 1 New York Times bestselling Magnolia Table, she introduced readers to her favorite passed-down family recipes. For her second cookbook, Magnolia Table, Volume 2, she pushed herself beyond her comfort zone to develop new recipes for her family. In this, her third cookbook, Joanna shares the recipes—old and new—that she’s enjoyed the most over the years. The result is a cookbook filled with recipes that are timeless, creative, and delicious! Just as in her past books, within each recipe Joanna speaks to the reader, explaining why she likes a recipe, what inspired her to create it in the first place, and how she prefers to serve it. The book is beautifully photographed and filled with dishes you will want to bring into your own home, including:Honey Butter Layered Biscuit Bites Bananas Foster Pancakes Brussels Sprout Gruyére Gratin White Chicken Alfredo Lasagna Garlic Shrimp over Parmesan Risotto Peanut Butter Pie Brownie Cookies Read more

  • Great gift!
I was fortunate to find this at an excellent price! I gave it as a gift and it has been much loved. The recipes are great -- nothing too wild, but yet unique enough to be worth purchasing another cookbook.

  • GREAT COOK BOOK
We bought this cookbook after watching one of her episodes of her cooking show. We have already ear marked TOOO many recipes. My daughter made the baked Ziti and the Brownie Cookies. Both were amazing. She is just learning to cook and now wants more of Joanna's Cook Books. SOOO many good recipes and not difficult. I ordered this same Cookbook for my Daughter in Law too. ... show more

  • Magnolia Table 3
Book inside is perfect condition— but the cover has worn spots for it to be brand new. Disappointed for the outer condition but very excited for the recipes inside.

  • Incredible number of recipes- and I want to make 95% of them
I just received the Magnolia Table Volume 3 and I’m blown away by the number of recipes I actually want to make. I’ll have to update this review after making a bunch the next few weeks- but right off the bat, I’m impressed. I love her first two cookbooks- they’ve become staples in my kitchen and I know I have a high chance of success when I try a new recipe if it comes from Magnolia. I was concerned about this 3rd volume- what else could she have to share? would the recipes go rogue with ingredients and randomness, or would they stay the family classics and staples I’ve come to love from her? I’m so happy to be happy with this cookbook. I want to make a massive chunk of these recipes and I’m shocked by the sheer number of them. I feel like in an age where cookbooks are more like blogs on paper- the old fashioned value for your money in a book is long gone. It’s been replaced by flowering photos and background histories on every page. THIS is a cookbook and like her first two- she hits a mix of homemade breads, breakfasts, appetizers (I think this chapter is a standout- and am so happy it’s here because I need these more than ever!), entrees, and desserts. Not many are what I would consider “healthy,” but if you’ve been cooking from Magnolia already you know she doesn’t lean that way. She uses a lot of farm fresh ingredients, and I focus on the fact that spread amongst multiple servings a lot of her recipes aren’t say “Paula Dean level”. I’ll make substitutions where I think I should. I’ll also make sure to really prep for some as the ones I want to make first seem somewhat time consuming (looking at you spinach enchiladas and baked ziti bolognese) but they also look like I’ll lick the plate after- so it’s a trade off. ... show more
