A nice book for a beginner (which is what I most certainly am!!). Background: I had signed up for a multi-session class on making clay objects - not just wheel turning but also the more fundamental parts. Having taken ceramics courses for two years, this book is helping me to understand the basics and take my skills to the next level. You can watch videos, ask questions in your pottery classes, but I consider this to be a foundational textbook that will allow me to grow as a ceramicist and designer.
