I love this journal! I've always found it hard to maintain a journal - I felt like I had to fill all that empty space, and most days didn't feel worth writing about. With this, I can write just a few sentences, which is exactly what I need. I absolutely love that this is a 5-year journal as well. I'm over a year into my plain blue original one, and reflecting back on the past year is helping me to really see how my life has changed (or not). I bought this version of the One Line a Day journal for a friend. The cover and pages are beautiful, fun, and modern. This is a quality book - the binding is done well (no issues with mine after a year!), the colors are gorgeous, the cover is sturdy and beautiful, and the gold edging makes it all feel extra special. This is such a great gift for someone who you know loves the idea of journaling but doesn't have the time, and for folks who love reflection and introspection. I gifted the celestial version to an astronomer friend, and she's so happy with it. I can't say enough positive things about the quality of the One Line a Day journals. They are beautiful in themselves and make for lovely, treasured keepsakes. I so enjoy sitting in bed at the end of the day and taking a couple of minutes to fill in my journal and reflect on the day. I couldn't be happier with these journals or recommend them more highly. I wish I had started one a couple of years ago when I began law school! I have used these journals for years and this year I bought one for my besties for Christmas so they could start using them. It is so nice to have the log of each day for five years in one place and it’s just a couple of sentences a day so it isn’t overwhelming and helps you create a habit. Perfect gift! ... show more

    • Amazing way to capture family memories.
I struggle with the passing of time now that we have kids and this has been an amazing habit to pick up. The fact that you can see the same day over 5 years on one page is amazing. Plenty of space to write for each day/year and the cover is beautiful. Paper feels super high quality as well!

My whole life I’ve struggled with “traditional” journaling and just felt overwhelmed by it. I found this and added it to a list ages ago and finally recently bit the bullet to try it out. Have been using it for a couple weeks and I absolutely love it. It’s a great pocket size (albeit thick, but small dimensions), and the layout isn’t overwhelming. Enough space to jot down some quick thoughts at the end of the day and not overwhelming to feel like you have to journal out everything. I like this product because it's small enough to travel with and store easily. It does make it a bit difficult to write anything of substance for each date, though, as each entry space is quite small. Overall, good product with durable covers.

I’ve always wanted to journal but hate the time and actually just hate writing! But limiting it to just a few sentences has helped a ton and I’ve actually kept up with it. I love how beautiful the cover is and LOVE the gold trimmed pages. Didn’t realize this when I bought it but it might be my favorite thing lol. Having it look so pretty on my nightstand makes me want to keep doing it. Also I realized I forgot a lot even though I have a good memory.
